Course in good shape
Greens in good shape a bit slow fairways decent overall good
Great Facility and course
The course was in great shape, greens were very good, a couple had very minor damage from winter but overall was in decent shape. Fairways are lush and thick. Noticed a huge change in customer service with all staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Even had a couple of carts going around with water to refill your bottles/containers. It was busy but even so pace of play was 3 1/2 hours. Food in clubhouse was good and did not skimp on portions we had.
Good Value
Great deal on golfnow/Good layout,long rough,3 or 4 greens were bad ,the rest were very good.Easier than the South course but still challenging.Worth the drive from Ottawa for the right price.Will play play both courses again.Friendly staff and patrons.

Greens in awful shape, yet they charge the full rate??

Shot under 100 for my 2nd round of golf this year.
The course is a little better condition than the south course.
This course has 5 par 5 and 5 par 3 which makes it fun to play!
Played the course early October and the course was in good shape. The maintenance crew was also on the course blowing leaves off the fairway with is a good thing so that you dont look for your ball all day! yhis is and average course but fun to play!
Glorious day of golf
We arrived early for our tee time and the South course was busy so Patricia said we could go to the West course right away. We had no one ahead or behind us and had a very well paced game. There was water in some of the sand traps but we fortunately avoided them.
The staff is so congenial and always takes time to chat. It feels like a home away from home kind of place. There is a BBQ and concession stand on the 9th hole which is very nice.
Can't wait to get back there.
Very friendly staff, course very well-maintained, very enjoyable
We've played here before, so we were not surprised at the friendly greeting and cordial staff. The course was exactly as we expected, well-maintained and in excellent shape. We enjoyed lunch in the clubhouse. the food was excellent and reasonably priced. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable day.
great value. nice course
Horrible game! .... enough about my golfing skills. Great value! I booked the "Hot deal" of the day and paid $26 (all in) to play and ride! Course condition was very good....except for some of the greens...but I've seen worse there in years past. Will take up these deals anytime I can!
Course was on good shape and excellent value for money
We enjoyed our game and the course was in good shape considering that they received a lot of water in the recent days. Not too busy and the employees were friendly.
We wouls suggest to add few more sand trap to increase challenges.
Two very nice courses.
I have now played both the South and West courses at Summerheights and enjoyed them both. Lots of trees so there's shade to be found on a hot summer day as well as challenges for any errant shots. The greens were in good shape and quite soft so high approach shots stopped immediately and even backed up. Overall, an enjoyable experience and very good value.
Course too wet yet
The course needs to dry. It sould be ready in about 2 weeks if weather cooperate.
Nice course to play when not too busy.
Twice, we booked for the South course and were moved over to the West. We've played the West several times this summer and it is a nice course. Once, we had such slow golfers ahead of us, we had to give up after 9 holes and almost 3 hours. It was brutal and there didn't seem to be anyone marshalling. On the other hand, we played on another occasion and golfers ahead let us pass and we flew through 18 in just under 3 hrs. It was a terrific day!
