One of good choices for playing golf near London
Overall it is worth to play here

Good Value
The course was in good shape and an excellent value for the money. Pace of play was terrible today and there was no visible management (ie. a Marshall) of the backup. At times there was 3 groups on one tee.
Thank you for taking the time to review Pine Knot, the only downside to being a busy club is that on very busy days a few slow groups can backup the course. I do assure you that through GPS and on course monitoring we do identify and talk with these groups but it is still up to them to puck up thier pace as if we try to remove them we get slaughtered in a bad review from them online as well. We do our best and we always try to keep the pace moving on time
Keeps getting better
This course is on track to be an elite course. I’ve been playing here for over ten years and they always seem to be putting money into the course. For example new driving range and new Carts with GPS which is great. They also have made a few holes more difficult by making the holes longer and also adding some long grass in areas. If they can get there fairways looking next level and tee decks more flat and manicured they will be an elite course ... Greeens here always pretty good sands are ok not the best but definitely not the worst. Overall if you play this course for under 55$ it’s a deal ...over that price range for me would be a bit much unless they can somehow grow that carpet looking fairways and better tee decks. Then they could easily be an 80$ course.

Perfect day at the course
My son's and I got a perfect day where the pace was fast and the pins were in challenging positions. We all scored
in the 70's and the course was in great shape. Always look forward to going back.

Great Afternoon
Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here. Starters, golf manager and wait staff in the pub were attentive and made us feel extremely welcome. Course conditions were excellent.

Love this course!
Course is in great shape. I love the layout of this course and the variety of the holes (other than hole 17). Greens are always in great shape but are challenging and fast. The only reason course conditions aren't a 5 star is that the bunkers could be a little lighter in terms of the sand. This is always a destination that I look forward to playing each year.

New carts are good and bad
The course was in decent condition, but he new carts leave something to be desired.
The good - the GPS is a step up. It has the great feature that allows you to select any point on the course and it will tell you how far to that point and how far from that point to the pin. This is fantastic.!
The bad- the carts slow down and speed up depending on where you are and it doesn't always make sense. The cart slows down in what seems to be random areas. On cart paths, middle of the fairway, driving onto cart path from the fairway, etc.
They need to be tweaked for sure.
Thanks for the review. Yes the system is new to us and is still being tweaked and gets better every day. They are the newest carts and newest GPS in all of Ontario. We are tweaking the controls which is always part of the process. It's just another reason to play Pine Knot while the other courses go in reverse. Hopefully after playing some other courses we can get you back for a 5 star review!
Always the best experience
Great experience. Perfect balance of golf for everyone from challenge to play-ability. Conditions are top shelf, best public greens you can play that rival private clubs. The best drainage I have ever witnessed make it the first choice summer, spring, fall and winter. Welcoming staff and a great hang out and restaurant before and after the round. Always improving.

Great value
Great shape for early November. Staff friendly and accommodating. Ground staff did a great job clearing and mulching leaves. Great value at $25 with cart.

excellent condition
Everything about this course was well done. This is the end of the season and the greens were excelllent, Fairways well groomed and everything was clean
