Great day
Weather was great and the course was in good shape. I just have to stay away from the bunkers
Great layout and course, but terrible bunkers
Played today and had a great experience. Great shape, but the bunkers (especially since there is a lot of them) needs to be in better shape. Lacks enough sand and is rock hard as a major rule.
Other than this greens and tees are in great shape, so is the rest of the course.
Poor experience
very bad at spacing groups. Only 9 hole course run through twice, so on the back 9 it was big wait. Carts don't hold bags in i was told to stick a tee in the strap buckle after I had a broken driver from bag falling out my partners cart died on the 7th hole.
Nice place
Decent course. Only 9 holes but back nine sets up different from other tee blocks. Good price.
Nice course
Course is in great shape. Always challenging. staff is very friendly and helpful.
Slow play
11:24 tee off. Finished 18 at 5:17.
Tee times booked 9 min apart??? No allowance for groups playing 18 holes
Hard to understand the over bookings when we are to be social distancing. Also should be tee times farther apart to accommodate such
First off at 6:00am
First round of the year and I always enjoy starting the year at Dragon's Fire. Very friendly. COVID precautions in effect but they are still smiling. Joined a threesome as a single. Good group, but due to work commitments I played as a single for the back nine. Greens very slow but wintered well. Tees and fairways pristine. Bunkers have perfect consistency. Very enjoyable course. Great variety of holes, elevations, routing.
Walkable 9-holes with alternate tee boxes for back 9
Course was walking-only no carts as there had been snow cover up until the morning we played. Good drainage - wasn't muddy and no standing water on any of the lies. Good layout. Could see other players on other holes but no danger of incoming balls. Nice looking holes. Some tee boxes had been aerated. Conditioning ok for last week in Ontario November. Fallen leaves had been removed so balls easy to see and find. Pace of play was fine with all groups walking. No food or beverage at end of season.
Hidden Gem
Course is always in good condition, two sets of tee blocks give good variety and new club house improving the overall appeal of course.
