Great layout, bunkers need sand
Very nice challenging course.
There are constant Jets flying overhead from nearby airport which added flavour.
The bunkers are in desperate need of sand as it was difficult to properly get out and needed adjustments.
Would return.
Nice track, target golf
Unless you play the tips the driver is used very rarely. But great for long iron hitters. Not a flat lie in the house if you’re off the fairway. Had a lot of shots above my feet, but guess that’s my problem should be in the fairway!
Great course makes you think your way around.
Play well and be rewarded but be inaccurate and you’ll pay.
Terrible restaurant May as well not be there at all.
Solid course
Solid course considering it’s in the middle of the city. The green fee is a reflection of this. Conditions were pretty good and pace of play was by far the fastest it’s ever been playing at this course.
Pace was very slow
T off was 4:10pm took 27 min for one hole
Was on hole 12 at 7:15pm and was told by Marshall they closed at 8:15 pm very terrible time management
Best was it was cart path and there wasn’t a drop of rain
People took in there own hands to start to use the grass
Couldn’t believe it
Drink cart
4 visits for first 8 holes then NOTHING for last 10……and you are no where near the clubhouse. No water nothing!!!! It’s was 35c. Come prepared. Drink girls were more interested in reading a book and staying put.
A gem with a little care
This course was so much better back in the day. Now, bunkers and T box’s are aweful, no GPS on the carts all for a low low price $120/round. I can think of 20 courses in that dollar value I would rather play. Put the money back into the course and I’d consider going back.
Great value and superb staff
Played Royal Woodbine on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff was fantastic. Course was in great shape overall. If you don’t mind the airplane noise, I’d highly recommend it. Will definitely golf there again.
Poor Weather No Communication
Never went to play. tried calling all morning because it was raining all night and morning and wanted to see if the course was open. Every time calling and waiting on hold was just an endless loop. Will be charging back because it doesn't appear the cancellation went through.
Disappointing again
This course is in the middle of Mississauga - literally on the runway of Pearson Airport, and very accessible quickly, but always manages to disappoint.
Either the staff were unfriendly or the cart girls were not moving (staying under a bridge all the time) or in this case - BAD drainage making you stay "Cart path only" on the whole course - which means a lot of walking - at FULL price of course. You could see how bad the drainage was. Check other local courses that day - they were fine (from a water point of view).
Its always something here. Disappointed, because the course itself if well laid out and fund. Kaneff courses in general are under-funded.
