Need to put expensive green fees back into course
Course layout is exactly how I remembered it from last play about 12 years ago which was greally aND wit some challenging holes. Lots of strategy requipped to get around safely. Unfortunately little is being spent on course maintenance. I can understand keeping the greens a little long, due to the recent heat wave however, the grass wasn't manicured at all. Grass and weeds growing in the bunkers. Don't know how because the bunkers were hard a cement. Too bad they don't put their expensive green fees back into course maintenance. Not to mentioned the halfway house closed early leaving us without food. We were told that the cart girl had sandwiches but she didn't.
Beautiful course layout!
Fairways and greens in good shape.
Bunkers had no sand, just dirt and mud.
No tee blocks in place
Good course. Good value for money. One major annoyance
Played on a Saturday afternoon in late October. Greens had been spiked a week ago. Made for slow putting. Pace of play was poor. Waited to tee off on every hole. 4 groups backed up on18th. Location convenient from downtown Toronto. Surroundings not great: lots of highways and industrial. Some holes were hidden away. Near constant air traffic overhead from Pearson Airport next door. Love the designer. He did Dunderave in PEI and Le Diable at Tremblant, Quebec. This is not one of his masterpieces. But a good golf course at a good price. Equivalent to Don Valley.
Pet peeve: they charge you for a cart whether you use one or not. Boo. Course is easily walkable. Annoying cash grab.
Challenging Track
Targeted course. Game must be carefully managed.
Expensive for comparable courses in GTA.
Great Golf close to city
The course is an easy drive from midtown Toronto. Most other decent public courses are a lot farther. A challenging track that is kept in good shape. Booking process is a pain, especially the requirement to pay the whole fee upfront.
Excellent course Layout
Excellent course layout with a good variety of distance. Smart golf is called for don’t try to over power the course. Only down side that the course has no control over is the constant noise from the Planes landing. Definitely a must try.
An Enjoyable Golf Experience Near Toronto
I recently had the opportunity to play at a golf course located just outside Toronto, Ontario, and it was a rather pleasant experience. The course offered a unique blend of challenges and scenic beauty that made for an enjoyable round. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a decent golfing option.
Nice course next to airport runway
Greens running well, scenic and fairways all nice.. course can get tight at some holes but beautiful and worth playing. Just that a but pricey as uts was over a hundred dollars per golfer
Pace of Play is Worst in GTA
Good course but every time I play you’re looking at 5.5 hour rounds. Marshall’s just don’t do their job. Unfortunately this will be the last time I play here.
Great layout, bunkers need sand
Very nice challenging course.
There are constant Jets flying overhead from nearby airport which added flavour.
The bunkers are in desperate need of sand as it was difficult to properly get out and needed adjustments.
Would return.
