Greens need work
Considering the sunny weather following significant rain we expected far better green conditions. Although the greens had been aerated recently there seemed to be an abundance of sand on the green. They really need some work to even get to average. Really ruined the golf round in my eyes.
Need some work on the greens
Ditto is a fun layout and the fairwAys are in good shape, The greens however need a lot of work.
The ball pretty much bounced the entire way to the cup on all but 2 greens.
Staff is extremely nice and food is good.
I would recommend this course to the beginner
Very Rushed
The speed of play was very rushed. They told us they over booked the tee times and had a tournament starring in 4 hours. The group behind us was riding us all day and we were forced to go the same with the group in front. The whole felt like we were just trying to get through the round instead of enjoying it. The course itself was enjoyable but I'll never play here again.
Good value
Ditto is in decent shape considering it's early Feb. The staff was very nice and the pace of play was very good. Overall a great bang for your buck!!
Better, Not Yet Average
Ditto has always had lots of dirt patches, even on the greens. They are clearly making an effort to change this.
But, Ditto is in real need of marshals to maintain the pace of play.
Old But Good
Ditto is one of the oldest courses in the Dallas area, owned by the City and maintained with a very good. Staff on site pleasant and always professional and helpful. Greens need a little work to get rid of the weeds and bumps while putting but for mid winter over all in good shape
Great course for muni
Second time playing this course, all aspects were in great order for N Texas in the winter. Fairways in good condition and the greens were too. Although I signed up as a single the staff paired me up even though course wasn't busy, I feel this should be my choice. Got paired with two others who were way better than me, and I felt I was holding them up, as if golf doesn't have enough pressure already, was my only complaint
Chester W. Ditto Golf Course is beautiful.
Chester W. Ditto Golf Course has challenging, 18-hole, par 72 golf course, offers plush tiff fairways narrowed by trees and accented with white sand bunkers and ponds.
A driving range, a practice putting green and a chipping area are offered to complete one`s golfing experience. The clubhouse offers snack bar concessions and a full line pro shop with today`s most popular equipment and apparel.
Needs make-over
The city of Arlington needs to spend the money and redo this course. They need to improve tee boxes and fairways in my opinion. This course gets a ton of rounds and really shows a lot of wear. Course needs a clean up.
Pleasantly Surprised!!!
First time playing this course. I had never really considered playing here because I thought that it would be just another one of those ho hum city courses that only a beginner would think was worth his time, but I was pleasantly surprised by the layout and challenging design of the course, especially the back nine. I will definitely be back.
Nice course.
The only problem we had was that they were letting people start off on the tenth hole in front of us. It was a five hour round.
Pretty good.
This course is not to bad but 10 more dollars can get you a round anywhere else with a better layout and a cart girl that comes around.
Great over all course
Greens were in great shape, but a bit slow for us. We had a hard time judging the right impact to get it in the holes
the play of this course
The Course plays long an narrow which is good for developing a straight ball. Overall a good course to play.
great place to come and enjoy golf.
I will recommend a friend and families to come And enjoy golf here!
This course was very nice
Course was very nice. Only issue was no beer cart.
ditto
Green were in good shape as was the course. Not the most challenging but has some elevation changes which was fun.
Great greens
Course was in excellent condition ! Best course I played on since pebble beach !
