Two Thumbs Up
I agree with other reviews that have posted positive comments.
Pros:-Staff friendliness, well maintained tee boxes, fairways and greens, tee boxes are level, two different 9s.
Cons: - Sand in the traps is very poor.
Neutral: - From the blues, front 9 is very long.
Great course and fast pace 3 1/2hrs
Course is in great shape, fairways , greens and tee boxes all nice and green. Rough is coming back slowly because of dry summer. Cart girl always comes buy 4 times during the round.
Nice layout nice shape
From booking course management to the course itself was Very good
Hats off to the superintendent the course is in great shape. Fairways, tee boxes and greens are all nice and green. Hard to do in the hot weather we have had with no rain for 3 weeks. Its a hidden gem with two completely different 9's.
course was in excellent condition, given the dry weather experienced.
Riverview is in excellent condition all round. Staff is always great. One our favourite courses. Challenging but playable. Always a pleasure to play
After a slow front nine, I was approached by the pro shop attendant who informed me of a forthcoming storm and offered me a rain check for 9 holes including a cart for any time this season. I took the offer and shortly after hitting the road for home, indeed, there was a heavy downpour. If I had chosen to play on, it would have been as a single since my playing partners chose to stop because of the approaching storm and the slow pace of play.
Riverview's front nine"s fairways and greens are in terrific shape.. Unfortunately, there is only one bunker on the front 9. As the pro shop attendant said and I know from playing 18 holes at the course in the past, the back 9 is much more interesting than the front.
