Good course for the price
Course was very dry and the tee boxes were in very rough shape. The starter was not very customer friendly a little bit grouchy. They seem a little unorganized. But as for the value it’s good. Wide open on the east and west courses hard to loose a ball. And the south course was a nice change with the narrow tree lined fairways. Over all a good small town course.
Great course for the value
I usually play within the GTA but was not able to find any tee times. We found this place online and it was only a 40min drive from Caledon. We were worried as the price was super low from what we are usually use to paying. We thought to give it a try and was surprised that the course was in excellent shape. If you looking for beautiful scenery and tough challenges, this is not the course for you. The west and east courses are very open and even the worst golfer will find there ball, however you will need to go to the other fairway to retrieve it. The south course was much more amusing with the scenery and obstacles, and much more challenging. The Marshall was very friendly and did his job well trying to get people to speed up to pace of play. Seen the drink girl twice, however you are always near the club house if you need anything.
Fun little course and I will be back. For you serious scratch golfers, this is probably not the course for you.
Duffers Only
18 hole Golfnow booking mid day showing open course - course overbooked - had to start on short nine to start on time - left after 8 holes played - over 2hrs -no Marshall at the turn to help - waste of time and money + have to carry your bag to and from parking lot - if you appreciate pace and etiquette - avoid Fergus
South and West Course
Played Fergus South and West today with my buddy. South course was in very good condition. Some wide open fairways to start and finish and some tight ones in between added to the challenge of the round.
West Course is wide open and lots of room to unleash the fury. Not a lot of challenge on the west course but fun to play all the same.
My recommendation is play the South Course for the add challenge.
Tee time not honoured
Booked a tee off time of 640 am through golf now to find out the course doesn't open until 730.
Pd online in advance for a round not played.
Staff was not helpful, rude and threatening.
Course good for intermediate golfers
Greens in excellent shape, fairways ok, long par 5’ s, pace of play great, played east/west Course in 3 1/2 hours.
Excellent 27 hole course
We played 18 holes with a cart for just over $100 2 people. Not too busy and the course layout was good. Friendly staff and great conditions.
East Gary Golfer
The course was not busy so pace of play was great! We golfed West then East. The tee blocks are still uneven, the greens are slow, and the long grass/ weeds need to be trimmed......nothing has been done to this course in years!
Not worth the money to golf here.....
