Dreadful
Played 18
They sold the property apparently to developers,
Haven't kept up on any maintenance.
Please do not play this cow pasture.
Can't complain for $10
Got a round for 10 dollars with cart, and was pleasantly surprised. Can't complain. Would do it again for 10.
The price was right
Was able to play 18holes with a power cart for $10. The course was empty when I arrived so I was not slowed down. Some of the greens are nice a couple look like a dogs breakfast. Overall this course needs water. Lots of water. Way too dry and hard.
Got screwed at below average course
Booked 18 holes for myself and my father in-law through the GolfNow website for Saturday July 11, 2015. When we got to the course, the guy behind the counter said "Sorry, there's a tournament today, you can't golf 18 holes... You can only golf 9 holes."
He was very unapologetic about it. Acted like it was the website's fault and didn't seem to care that we drove all the way from Grimsby to try out this course. What choice did we have? All the other courses in the area were booked solid, this was pretty much the only tee time I could get. So we decided to golf the 9 holes.
Here's the fun part... Instead of charging us half price at our GolfNow rate of $32 per person, he charged us FULL PRICE for 9 holes. So not only did we get hosed out of playing 18 holes (which we booked), we payed almost as much money for playing only 9 holes.
Oh and here's the REALLY fun part... After we finished our 9 holes, THE TOURNAMENT HADN'T EVEN STARTED YET! We could have easily golfed 18 holes without disturbing the tournament whatsoever.
Oh and the course is not great. Brown dead grass, poor greens, divots and chunks everywhere. Course layout was decent and it's an easy course, so if the conditions were better, beginner golfers might actually like it.
But do yourself a favor and golf somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Worth a visit!
Enjoyed 18 holes. Staff are friendly. Reasonable rates. New owners are putting a lot of effort into getting the course in shape.
A comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Good food! After your round give the pizza a try - it is excellent!
Good price poor condiions
We got it for a great deal on golf now. Staff were extremely friendly but we were delayed almost an hour before we could tee off because a ladies tournament ran long.
As far as conditions I have played this course before and the conditions were much better back in May. Playing in September it looked and felt like the course hadn't been watered in weeks. Ground was hard as a rock on tee boxes fairways and greens. Course desperately needs watering.
Soft, lumpy greens
The fairways were in decent conditions, but the greens were very poor. They needed to be cut and rolled. In places there were weeds growing through the grass on the greens. The greens were mushy and bumpy
