Great course! A must play for any golfer
Toon some staff out for golf one afternoon and the course was spectacular. Beautiful back drops, the course was in spectacular condition, no wait for groups in front of us and no pressure from groups behind us. A perfect way to spend an afternoon
Worth it once a year
My nephew from Kingston meets us here once a year. We drive the 1.5 hours from Ottawa. Fantastic and challenging course but not for $82.50 (power cart included). Tees, fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Bunkers were not manicured until about noon the day I played (although there was heavy rain the day before).
I can play some great courses in Ottawa for about $50 (Greensmere Legacy, etc..).
Lots of scoring holes.
A very well maintained course with several gorgeous views. A good test of golf for those at a 10 or above. Many scoring holes for golfers with a low cap.
Enjoy!
Great views
Other then the pace of play 4hrs 50 min it was fantastic...... on the last hole long par 5 we had 4 groups either in the fair way on the green or waiting to tee off I think because of the special they were tying to get as many people as possible on the course We were also 15min late teeing off.Even got a few pars, The views were great .I'll go back again maybe in the fall when everyone is back at work
Stunning
Moved to the Kingston area about a year ago, and have been playing various courses in the area since. None in the area match up to this course for layout and course condition. Impeccable, a must-play course in the area - will be my go-to course from now on.
Gem In The Thousand Islands
The course was in great tradition, fast yet receptive greens and fairways and rough well maintained. Would reccomend the course to anyone looking for a challenging yet affordable round.
Loved the course. It is carved out of the woods for sure and very picturesque.
Great Course and would play it again for sure. One improvement they could look at doing is levelling the Tee Boxes. On some of them you are hitting with the ball above your feet and others below your feet. No other complaints and only compliments.
Very Pleasant Golf Outing in the Thousand Islands
The first few holes require much focus. Very interesting elevation changes. Some greens could use a little extra maintenance. Westerly wind conditions seem to prevail. Back nine is more forgiving, especially the last six holes. Couple Par 5s are reachable in two, which help the score. Will return soon!
excellent!
Great course and beautiful to boot! Amazing scenery and a great challenging course!
Great Course
We took a shot at playing even though the weather man said 70% chance of rain dropping to 30% after 4 pm, our t time was 2:50 so we went for it. Actually not bad til 4 pm then rain for next 2 hours. Course is in good shape, will play again but hopefully better weather
Gan golf
Great rate for this course. I used the golf now app. Very efficient. Everyone in the group was very pleased, all will be using the app again soon, probably at this course and a few others.
A scenic gem.
This is definitely a must play for anyone in the area. Lots of changes in elevation make this a challenging course that would be murder to walk for anyone not in top shape. The course was very wet, so it was cart path only and the greens were a bit shaggy. But once the weather improves and the Superintendent has some time, this course will be one of the finest, if not the finest, in the area. Don't miss playing it in the Fall when the leaves are changing.
Best course in the area
Love this course. Beautiful scenery. Always in great condition.
Worth the ride in the cart
This course is beautiful, early season play does not offer it's true potential but even under unideal conditions allowed us to be greeted by 2 deer on the 4 tee box.
Can be pricy at times but an evening game is also very nice.
Not the best course for someone who struggles off the tee or someone that is looking for a very low score as even the challenges often can not not be overcome; you can golf a good game and still post a pretty high score.
