First Time playing

Beautiful manicured course. Fairways well trimmed and not hard. Pleasant to walk on. Greens were true and competitive. First course this year where could truly read them all.
Back nine is the hardest. Found myself in awe of the back nine. Challenging for all types of golfers. Water holes make this course the gem that it is.
The starter at the first hole was a lovely gentleman who got you in a great frame of mind.
My partner booked online and was quoted one price through the website to only be surprised that the charges upon checking in were more. Once questioned, the staff member became argumentative stating that he was wrong and website was wrong. If you have a website for the course make sure its set up right. Also was not aware of a company discount which has been in place for years, which was also disappointing but was educated about it, via the discount website. Basic business model practice is to know your business. Asked to talk to a manger over this respectively and were again met with rudeness. This put a damper to the round to start and was a major negative to the experience. I never give bad reviews but feel this is warranted as has doubted my original commitment to come back to this gem.

Great course

Well groomed challenging course. Reasonably priced at the rack rate but exceptionally priced if you have discount coupons.

Good Value

A good course to play for beginners or those looking for an easier round. A very good deal at the walking rate.

Little gem

I love this course. Always in great shape. The back nine is memorable. Lots of fun shots over water. Challenging but fair and gorgeous. This is on my must play at least once every year list.

Enjoyed the Round

I would call this course 'quirky'. It's a par 70 under 6,000 yards. Lots of doglegs, blind shots, water, and trees. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves, but I'm not sure I would want to play it frequently. The course was in great shape from tee to green - couldn't ask for more, especially considering the drought in the area.

The staff and members were very friendly and accomodating. We were behind a regular group of men members. The staff suggested we jump ahead to 6 and start from there. Great idea that worked out....they even planned for us to make the turn and the starter worked us right in to finish up.

Give it a try if you're in the area.

Coming back

Came back after a long hiatus and it hadn't changed.
This is not a high end club but it is a GOLFERS club. The pro shop is small but well stocked, the food in the lounge is simple but good.
Now for the course let me just say it is a fun course to play not overly difficult but has some very challenging holes especially 13.

The challenge to the course are the green side bunkers and the BIG greens.

We only played 6 holes because of rain however they gave us a full rain check to come back and we will.
