Fairways dead
The fact that they are charging full rates ( we had a 2-4-1) for a course with no grass on the fairways or tees!
Looks like they got a bug and don't know what to do about it. Somewhat tight course with the treeline full of brush so if you miss the fairway , tee up another!
Will not be back!
Accept 3 Putts Every Hole
The greens were extremely poorly conditioned. There was barely any grass on them, and it was as if a thin layer of turf had been laid over a bed of concrete. A full wedge into the wind won't leave the smallest resemblance of a ball mark, which makes absolutely no sense. This combined with the wispy, spotty rough means it is extremely difficult to get the ball up and down. Extremely frustrating to hit good shots and constantly make bogeys. The par 5s were way too short to be considered par 5s as well. Would not play again. Can't use the full bag of clubs.
grub problems
I realize this is the time of year for courses to do their fall maintenance ( i.e. fairway and green aerating ) but it would be beneficial if Golf Now required them to notify golfers of this, so they could make the decision on whether or not they would choose to play under these conditions. I would not recommend this course at this time of year.
Price of $40 was excellent for this course,
Course is cut out of the bush but the fairways are generous.
The fairways were in good shape considering the hot dry summer.
The day we played the course was busy. The Ranger suggested we play the front 9 again. Great suggestion.
We were a little disappointed when we were told that the restaurant was closed but that we could eat at the resort.
Slowest round I've ever played
The course itself was in great shape. However, we had a tee time for 2:30 and didn't tee off until 3:00. We quit after 9 holes, since it took 3 hours to play the front. Only play this course if you can go on a weekday.
