I had heard lot of good things about this course, this time I got to try it. It is everything I had heard and more, A great course with lovely landscape. Each hole has a character about it. Some holes (#11 especially) are simply breathtaking. Good greens, straight and wide fairways (mostly) and well kept roughs.

Will definitely golf there again.

A 7,000+ yard municipal course that is not a cow pasture. Elevation changes and wildlife galore. I plan more visits now that I have retired. It was a bit of work today in the wind though. Staff was great and the course is in great shape.

I'm long time Hamiltonian and avoid all the city courses sadly because of the steadfast ignorance, greed, lack of ettiqute and courtesy for others; did a 5 hour round on a 4 hour course.

Mind you, it doesn't make sense for a foursome to play thru a foursome, but the irate drunks thought it was funny to back up 3 groups on holes.

Appearantly, I was in the wrong and threatened with assault for questioning their pace?

Classic championship layout that should be played once a year if it wasn't for the ignorance and disrespect for the game of golf.

Very disappointed in this course. Our foursome drove from Barrie to play this course. Never again. The name of this course should be changed to "Blind Shot Alley". Whether you are teeing off or making an approach shot, you are hitting blind shots on almost every hole - sometimes twice on the same hole! Hidden hazards are the surpize on the other side of the blind shot. Practice green was excellent, however, that was the only good green on the course. The course greens were in poor condition and had very different speeds. Fairways were dry and had long rollouts - oh, those blind hazards came into play again! Sand traps were fine and were well maintained. Golf carts did not run well (switched one out at the turn). Carts did not have windshields or bag covers - thank heavens it did not rain. I will never play this course again (buddies agree) and I will never recommend it to anyone.

Love this course. 4 th time playing there but this time we had to many people in front of us. We had 10 groups in front of us. In front of them was 5 groups. For that reason the pace of play was terrible and I couldn't play the last 4 holes. I had to leave after 4:30 hours of play.. should only take 4 hours to play

Played the course on Aug 31, course was in great shape, just wish people would learn and remember to FIX their ball marks on the greens. Other than that, the fairways were in good shape, and the greens were true. Beware of the escarpment when putting. Staff were friendly and Katy on the cart was as nice a person as you will ever meet.

Enjoy your round.

Kings Forest never disappoints. The greens are very tricky and deceptively fast the upper tees on 14 make it a more challenging par3.

At 5500 yards from the forward tees, this course is a challenge for the average woman golfer. If the course is wet, there is no roll which is much needed at this yardage. The first hole is the most forgiving as it plays downhill and is a shortish par five for women.

Conversely, #13 reads on the card as a long par four at 367 yards but it plays like a par five for the ladies.

Even if with a 170 yard drive, you next have a long forced carry which causes most to have to lay up to the chasm and waste a stroke. Either move the tees up 15 yards or make it a par five. Golf needs to be encouraging as well as challenging. A couple of the par threes are also too long ie #17 at 157 yards. That's a driver for me! I didn't see one other woman out there playing wither. It's a beautiful course with large undulating greens and interesting topography. But it needs another set of forward tees. The men have three different choices so why do the women or shorter hitters have only one choice of tees? I can only do well here with fast, firm fairways and no wind!
