Great track
This is a great course and will test good golfers. The greens are in great shape and lots of undulations make them tough to read.
Nice Course
We enjoyed the course quite a bit. There were several holes that you could not hit the driver on as you would run out of fairway or by design you need to hit a lesser club. Lots of blind landing areas from the tee which is not ideal.
The marshal was annoying to say the least as he was on us for a good portion of the front nine even though there was no one behind us or on the tee. Totally inappropriate if you pay $250 plus for threesome with tax and you get bothered for no reason.
I certainly won't play this course again because of the marshal system.
4 Stars
Course is great. It is kept in pretty good condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that it gets overbooked and usually takes me 5 hours to play a round in the summers.
Very well maintained course. Fairways, greens and bunkers were in great shape. Played early morning on a weekday so pace of play was great. Very reasonably priced for the quality.
Play once or twice a year
Challenging course with not too many easy holes. 9 and 18 are their signature holes and making par on either requires a careful approach. 7 is an easy drive with a approach into a narrow green virtually surrounded by water/hazards except for one side. The on course service is good as well and staff are friendly. Prices seem to have come down so you are getting good value for your money.
Not as easy as it looks.
I play this course a lot and always enjoy it. Looks fairly benign, but can be very hard on the score card if you do not hit your ball straight. The greens are sneaky quick and always in A-1 condition and consistent from start to end of season.
Thanks! It can be a shot makers course depending on the tees you choose.
Tough course
Very nice course kept in great condition. Very tight not much room for error
Thanks! It is a shot makers course!
5.5 hours for a round of golf
I enjoyed the course as I usually do, however 5.5 hours for a round is way to much for me. Avoid playing this course on weekends if you can unless you want a whole day experience.
We will have to work on this. Will pass it along to Cal our Golf Pro.
Marshal and restaurant staff very friendly. Tee off time was good and because of early bird time we could relax over lunch before the round
Check in was all done ahead of time and carts were already. pro shop seemed less enthusiastic- like we were getting a great deal that he wasn't sharing in. I expect a warm welcome or at least a hello when I enter a pro shop to start a round of golf
Wasn't impressed with paying for a small bucket of balls for the driving range-
But overall good value for the money and good course- more lke a club link than a public track
Thanks for the feedback. We will let Cal our pro know about your experience in the Proshop.
Slowest game in 20 years
Nice layout. Group in front held up entire course. Marshalls talked to them twice and did nothing. Bring your own beer as only saw beer cart on 1st tee and then not again in 5 hours. Got back to clubhouse and saw all the carts of the people that just gave up. Greens pretty chewed up. I would recommend it to people that like to take their time and play slow as the course will not rush you.
Good course with some challenging holes!
I have only played this course a few times and most have been after major rainfalls so the course was still very wet and soggy in places. Greens were fast with early in the year which made it challenging after the days of rain soaking the areas around them. Price was very fair for this time of year.
Thanks for the feedback!
Heading in the right direction
Played this course many times in the past..Did not play last season mainly because of negative comments from friends and also reviews. Played on wed 26th April.17 .Was very satisfied.Proshop staff very professional.Treated like your business is appreciated.Course in great shape.Greens were a bit slow but they were still damp from previous rain. Was allowed to go out as a single since course was wide open hence cannot comment on pace of play.Would let my friends know of the changes.Would definitely be a regular this season
Early morning is the best time to play! Thanks
