This course is very well maintained
I was very impressed on how well both the fairways and the putting greens were kept. Although the carts did not have GPS, the clear fairway markings provided adequate guidance on distance to the putting greens.
good course fro the $
very good course.
Holes 1-6 have large allies and ease you in the game. the next 6 have lots of water obstacles and the last 6 holes have narrow fairways.
Good bang for your buck
Not a very difficult course. A few greens are in rough shape but overall the course was pretty good. Definitely worth the GolfNow price.
Much Improved
The greens were much improved from earlier in the year. They are keeping them longer but most of the grass has grown back in and you get a decent roll.
The rain from the previous couple of days really softened up the front nine and the greens were holding.
A pleasant surprise.
very open
first 9 are fairly open with a few obstacles;second 9 are more difficult[WATER} Over all a great course for a week-end golfer.
Excellent deal
Very nice course at an inexpensive price. We will be sure to stop there the next time we are in the area
love this back 9
If you want a challenge this back 9 has it all. Course management and club selection is key if you think you have par in you.
Course has potential
Course has a very nice layout however the greens keeping is very poor. Patches of dirt on the greens and putts would bounce halfway through a putt.
country pleasure
Although this course may not be among the elite, the natural setting and pleasant surroundings make for a very enjoyable day. There are some very nicely layer out holes. The par 5 s are fun. The course is quite long and driver can be hit on most 4s and 5s. Clues is kept quite trim and is nice and green this year. Too much clover in the rough would be my main complaint.
This is a True Gem Course
The initial six holes are somewhat forgiving. There are many holes that will have you keep the driver in the bag. Many interesting challenges for the middle six holes. Target golf becomes key for the last six holes as the fairways get slightly tighter. All mid to low handicap golfers will enjoy this very nice course. A bit extra work would be needed to correct winter kills on 3 or 4 greens.
This course provides something for everyone!
Bunkers at the greens, water ponds and streams, narrow fairways along with beautiful wide fairways at Inverary Golf Course. Brand new carts were a nice plus too. Long 5 par holes were a bit long for the ladies and even the guys too! Interesting course for the area, will definitely go back for the challenge. The greens suffered winter damage and are still in recovery.
A nice round of golf
I like this course, it offers a decent challenge and is a nice mix of forgiving and punishing. There are several holes where it will be difficult to keep your ball if you are wayward off the tee. It is a very scenic course, and on the back 9 you play your way into and out of the woods. There is often a prevailing wind that confounds attempts to hit the greens on several of the par 3's, and stretches what feels like a reasonable par 5 into a much longer hole. I found the greens to be slow and difficult to feel, but I am not a very experienced golfer.
Mostly I like golfing here as a relaxing day outside in the countryside.
Great value as a hot deal
Great layout. Needs TLC. For $30 riding, it was excellent. Fun holes!!
Thumbs up
Nice and narrow golf course. Some greens were in bad shape, but most were good. Very small greens. I would play there again, no problem.
tee blocks
I think some of the holes should have tee blocks nearer to some of the hazards, as the hazards seem to be at the distance most golfers hit the ball.
(180 to 210 yards.)
decent layout, very poorly kept
The course has a fair number of interesting holes, and a few extrememely challenging ones. Scoring is made difficult by the tiny greens and their terrible conditions. The fairways and rough are not really that bad. A few of the holes were just long for the sake of being long without much substance. A stretch of holes on the back 9 (14-16) are very tight with deep woods on either side which is not optimal for lower skill levels. All that said, it was still an enjoyable round and the staff were nice.
