Needs some serious work

I understand that courses at this price point will not be the finest golf, but the fairways had huge patches without reliable grass and the greens were definitely not typical green grass and were not well maintained. I barely putted on them. The staff were friendly.

Dont Bother

The course started out very bad for us. We noticed that we were the ONLY people there, and we know why. The course was HORRIBLY maintained, and we must have lost 20+ balls....not because we actually lost them, we couldnt find them in the dandelions. We played nine holes, and proceeded to the clubhouse, where we could possibly have a rain check, so we could return when the grass was cut. He basically said that these were normal conditions, which i KNOW arent true, as we play at a lot of different courses. We paid $70 which i think was VERY overpriced for this course. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this course to ANYONE. Very bad experience!!!!!!!

You can't beat the price for a great golf course.

Course is in great shape and we weren't rushed. There were other golfers but the course wasn't packed. Less than and hour from Toronto. Food in restaurant is great.

Excellent Course

It is only 100 km from Toronto and it was worth the drive. Many of the greens were rebuilt in the fall of 2012 and they are great. They have a weekend "Golf All Day Rate". Can't beat the price. No waiting so we could play right through. Added irrigation to the fairways have made the course much better. Staff was friendly. Food was good an inexpensive. Great play for a bunch of guys to golf inexpensively on a great course.

Great course. All my girlfriends and I play every week.

Great course. We drive every week from Hamilton to play. Short drive, no wait and a beautiful course. Very inexpensive. They have put in a lot of new irrigation at the end of last summer.

stay away

Where to start... The tee decks are bald, lumpy and not cut. The fairway is a sliver of patchy grass. The rough is so un-maintained that hitting out of fescue might be a better option. When you get to the greens they are just like everything else: not mowed, patchy and full of lumps that would make golfing in the dead of winter more enjoyable. In general the course was just so bad that my playing partner and myself walked off the course after 6 holes but made up our mind to do so after only 3 holes. Why this course is even on golfnow.com is a mystery. For a course that charges $40 for 18 holes and cart, its more than double what anyone should have to pay. Actually embarrassed to say I stepped foot on the course. Wouldn't play here again even if someone drove me there and paid for my golf and beers.

Thank you very much for your review of this course. I have thought of giving it try on many occasions but something always held me back. You have saved me from playing this "wort" of a course. Golfnow should remove it. Keep up the reviews.

Course was quick drive from Kitchener - Waterloo. Great course, friendly staff, great food. Fantastic experience.

Course was quick drive from Kitchener - Waterloo. There are a lot of challenging greens. Great view and water comes into play a lot on the front 9. Great food and no rush to play. Lots of room.

This course has many issues

There were two large holes in the course that were not blocked off. The course is poorly laid out - some of the signs have incorrect distances to the hole or are incorrectly positioned for new golfers to the course to know which hole is next. We were on the 13th hole when the sprinkers came on the first 9 - I would have hoped that the course would have respected the golfers that still needed to finish up their round - but that didn't happen. I would not recommend this course.
