Nice pitch & putt!
Took my junior aged son there to test it out. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Not a bad track to get out for a quick hit, feels like an executive 18 or a pitch & putt which is fine! They seem to have a solid junior program I'll be signing my son up for
Genuine golfers beware!
First time playing here, I will accept responsibility for saying I should have done more research, however, this is not a golf course, it is a pitch and putt!
If you have any inclination to play genuine golf, stay away from here... Tiny course, unimaginative and easy holes.
Somehow on the first hole on the maple course, there was lots of standing water around the green despite the heat wave and to top it off we watched a.'6 ball' group out on the course despite there being a starter. Would not appreciate being stuck behind that group'
Nice small course
Nice small course. Good for beginners. Good variety with 3 9 holes courses.
Nice course
Very nice course for beginner lots of par 3 to practice your short game some tricky doglegs overall pretty impressed
Oak Gables
Nice little course, great staff. Still adversely affected by the rainfall in Southern Ontario.
this course is much improved since I last played
Course was in good, shape for late fall. The staff not to friendly towards golf now clients. Guessing they don't make too much money off them and don't realize that these people talk about golf and what courses to go to and what courses to avoid. Just a note friendly service goes a long way . And word of mouth is your best advertising.
nice course
i have played here meany times the best part is as two-sum and they never join you up with any other players
Excellent customer service!
The customer service, especially the full-of-great-tips starter, was outstanding at this course. It was a very busy day and the pace was extremely slow....the pace was ok for the first nine (Maple) but the 2nd nine (Oak) was extremely slow due to a tourney on Pine. We had a trio of walkers with a young boy ahead that made it even slower.
The course didn't have enough interesting features/challenges to make us want to come back.
Family Golf
We were very disappointed. We started the back 9 with the group ahead swearing.. Slow...Took 1 hour to play 4 hole and then decided to leave. Club house empty....Will not return.
Dave Review
Course is well maintained , and with 27 holes, moves along at a good pace. Good course for beginner - intermediate.
well worth the money
arrived early. Had a great lunch. Allowed me to go off early. pace was our speed as we were not puched etc. Kids camp ongoing but they were great. They let us play throug (twice) and were extremely polite.
With discount this was an excellant bargain with all the up side of a great day on the course.

Good course but poor course management
The course is in great condition including the greens. However, there is virtually no effort made to manage standard golfing etiquette on the course. We played as a twosome behind a foursome; all of us riding. We waited on every hole even though there were two open holes ahead of the foursome. The foursome never once invited us to play through. It took almost 2 hours to play 9 holes, which considering the length of the course is unacceptable.
Nice relaxed executive course to play golf in a friendly and timely period
Enjoyable day, course has challenging enough holes.
I would go back to play the course.
Course what it is meant to be,an inexpensive, quicker round to learn, practice, enjoy a part of the day on a golf course.
Fun
Showed up early for our golfnow special rate game and planned to drink in the patio to wait for our tee off. Unlike most places that treat golfnow customers as sub-par customers these guys did not. There was a slow point at tee off and they asked if we wanted to go, we sure did. Packed a cooler of beers and off we went. Pace was fairly good except for a twosome ahead of us that was slow but we realized they were both poor players but they were trying so we just let them be and slowed our play as well. We all started the same way. No one pushing us from behind so it was a really relaxing day at the course. Course was in fairly good shape considering the recent drought but last two day of rain softened the fairway somewhat. Greens were well taken care of which shows caring greens keepers and owners. Directions could be a little better but we found our way so not really a big complaint. Well worth playing but is somewhat an easy course. I don't know if I would pay full price however. I noticed it was quite pricey compared to other local courses that are bigger and more challenging. Discount for sure.
Average coarse
Just like most coarses these days it was very dry and ground was hard. The greens were in great shape and were being watered daily. It was hilly and had to make a few blind shots and would be a good coarse if you are just starting to golf
Pricing
Would recommend course for the discounted price, but think is greatly over priced if paying the weekend rate.
Water, water, water
The course was very dry and the grounds were very hard. In places, several that I noticed , the grass was yellow, dry and dead looking. Last year my son and I had a great time golfing here the 3 times that we went. This year was quite the opposite and we will not return. I just like to get value for my money and did not at this course
Practice with your Irons
This course appears easy, but the undulating landscape makes it difficult to envision your shots and then play them....The greens were fairly slow the day we played (maybe the early morning dew), combined with the slopes made putting more challenging than some of the courses in the area...
Good short game course
Played 18 holes in 2.5 hours. Used irons I usually leave in my bag. Some tight narrow shots. Limited dog legs - mostly straight on fairways. Challenging. Will return.
