Wow great conditions!
Amazing greens , tee boxes and fairways
Do not forget your bug spray, in the afternoon and evening you will need it or get eaten alive.
Only negative I can say is the mosquitos and flys
Beautiful track
Challenging for all golfers
Course is in great condition greens are quick bring bug spray just in case
Awesome
Absolutely loved the whole Loch March experience It was a great experience that I will definitely try to repeat
Nice layout
Nice course. Very wet though. Drainage an issue in areas but still a nice course.
Great Day at Loch March
The course was challenging and in great shape. This past winter was not kind to courses in the Ottawa area and Loch March is in great condition. I was expecting poor greens and damaged fairways. Neither happened. I will be back!!
All things considered with the ugly.Spring we have had the course was is good condition. No temporary greens and the greens were in pretty.good shape. A.few low lying soft areas but overall dry and not a lot of winter kill on the fairways. Weather was great today finally and it was a " great day at loch march".
Excellent golf course
Great condition golf course
Friendly staff
For sure in the top 5 public golf course in the Outaouais region.
Hot deals with golf now at 50$ cart included.
Amazing Golf Course right in the city
One of friendliest staffed golf course
Clean building, good golf course, good food, and very very friendly staff, v courteous, knowledgeable and professional
The course is well laid out and good for any level of golfing
Hot times
Extremely hot on the day we golfed but that's better than freezing.
Chicken salad or egg salad are not good sandwich options when it's 35 degrees C but those were the choices.
A group jumped in on us when we started our back nine because of scheduling conflicts at the course.
Nice course, beautiful greens.
5 Hour+ Round
We booked for a 12:36 Tee time and figured that, with carts, we'd have no problem finishing in 4 hours or thereabouts. As my son, who was in town for one of his friends weddings (in the wedding party) needed to be in Manotick for 6:30 for the groom's pre-wedding supper, we thought this would give us ample time to get him back to our house so that he could shower and change before driving to the supper. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us, they had a mini tournament booked just before our tee time and, although we had been assured that as they were playing a scramble, it would move ahead quite quickly, we ended up having to wait on every tee box and for every second and third shot. Consequently, at 5:40 P.M. we had just finished hole 17 and could see that the 4-some ahead of us still hadn't teed off on 18. Consequently, we ended up skipping 18 and racing to get my son home. Never once did we see a marshal trying to hurry the groups ahead of us along. It's a beautiful course, but they should manage the players better
A real gem in the city of Ottawa West !
Course conditions were pristine... starting with the humongous practice green which is cut to course standards ...... a 1/2 hour of practice we were ready to attack the course notifying the starting staff .... even though we had 70 minutes to wait for our tee time and the other unknown twosome to join at 11:33 we were enjoying the scenery which is spectacular starting with 1st. or 10th hole Raised tee boxes some fifty feet above the fairways....from the Blue ,.Black or Gold tees ( visible and pleasing other hole come into view)
The starter offer us the opportunity to start close to an hour earlier as a two some we accepted and off we went with appreciation of the service rendered......... exceptionally well groomed ... and scenic we were thanking the power that be for the privilege for the experience of Loch March. So go and enjoy this experience before season finishes or it will be your loss !
Slower than expected
The course had mini tournament which started before us. The foursome couples group was ahead of us and the ladies in the group didn't appear to have played golf before as their spouses were literally giving lessons on the course. For a course like this should not allow individuals that have never played golf before. There was no Marshall to monitor. We had to go back and request to start from the back nines so that we are not stuck behind this group. The club accommodated us. We lost almost half hour on that. Overall for the course that charges $75 for green fee and having to experience this was not satisfactory.
Will be back
Played early morning, was done 18 in 3 hours and the course conditions were excellent. Greens were consistent, somewhat fast and both tee boxes and fairways were well groomed. Great value for the money, worth the drive from Kemptville and will be back.
