Excellent course to get back into the game
The staff was extremely friendly, gave a quick run down of the course after I told them I hadn’t played in over 10 years.
Course conditions were fair, a little wet but that’s to be expected this time of year. Everything was very well kept and playable, greens were in good shape too and had a good speed to them considering the dampness.
Definitely a great course to go out and play a quick 9.
Bugs were not bad, a little bug spray kept them at bay.
Short Game Improvement
Love the layout and hole lengths test various approach shot capabilities. The greens are very challenging and requires reading skills. Ashamed to admit more than 1-3 putt in a 9 hole round.
Great place to learn the game
Wife and I are members here. The longest hole is 143 yds and the shortest 89 yds. Eric and the crew keep the tees and greens are in excellent shape. Many undulations on the greens make it a challenge even for the low handicapper. The bunkers are okay but as with many in the region they need a different variety of sand - way too firm.
No bar or restaurant but there is an awesome pub (Cheshire Cat) two minutes down the road (with Gluten Free options!).
Take the kids and have a great family outing!
Nice par 3 course. Greens and tee box are in good shape. Great place to practice approach shots and putting.
Though I'm a regular golfer, my partners were new and it was a great test for them. Green size and speed was great. Course was lush, and well managed. Only thought would be nice to have 100yd markers to help figure distances for the newer people who are short of the green. A great test, even for me, I will be back..
Nice par 3 course
We had a great time playing this par 3 with new golfers! Very enjoyable.
Very Slow greens
The greens were very slow, very very slow. The course was muddy despite the fact that it has not rained in a few days, which made the bugs bad as well. The other people on the course were nice enough to let me play through, as I was playing as a single. I inquired about a junior rate for people 18 and under, then the guy in the pro shop scoffed at me, as though there is no such thing.
$25 green fee with cart is high for small course for Tue at 10h30am vs others in area.
Nice practice par 3 course
Great little practice par 2 course. Conditions were wet but so is the rest of Ottawa this spring. Well kept, nice greens. We'll be back!
Really nice par 3
Fisrt game of the season, excellent for starting, a bit too easy. Quality of maintenance and greens are impressive.
Good practice course
Interesting par 3 course. But with summer camp during summer days, the pace is extremely slow. Enjoyable nonetheless
