Thunderbird Golf Club
Well maintained course.
Enjoyed our day today. Perfect weather and the game moved along smoothly. .
Great course to play a quick 9 holes. Excellent for practicing your short game
First time playing here. Great course for what it is. Good place to practice your short game, for a similar price you would get at the range.
Great Short Game Course
This is a great course for a quick 9 when you want to practice using your irons. Course was in great shape and everyone played at a great pace
The course is set in a very scenic setting!
The course is set in a very scenic setting.
Took my son to play here for the first time. Enjoyed the course layout and using the electric cart .
Nice Test of Short Game
Thunderbird is an executive par 3 course which is an excellent challenge for one's short game. The little track is beautifully maintained especially the greens. We were done in an hour and 20 minutes.
The course was in great shape and the staff helpful and courteous . Great course for working on your irons.
Tune in your short game
First time at this par 3 course.
No need to take woods or low irons.
Course was in great shape.
Greens were well maintained.
Good opportunity to practice short game.
Excellent course to get back into the game
The staff was extremely friendly, gave a quick run down of the course after I told them I hadn’t played in over 10 years.
Course conditions were fair, a little wet but that’s to be expected this time of year. Everything was very well kept and playable, greens were in good shape too and had a good speed to them considering the dampness.
Definitely a great course to go out and play a quick 9.
Bugs were not bad, a little bug spray kept them at bay.
Short Game Improvement
Love the layout and hole lengths test various approach shot capabilities. The greens are very challenging and requires reading skills. Ashamed to admit more than 1-3 putt in a 9 hole round.
Great place to learn the game
Wife and I are members here. The longest hole is 143 yds and the shortest 89 yds. Eric and the crew keep the tees and greens are in excellent shape. Many undulations on the greens make it a challenge even for the low handicapper. The bunkers are okay but as with many in the region they need a different variety of sand - way too firm.
No bar or restaurant but there is an awesome pub (Cheshire Cat) two minutes down the road (with Gluten Free options!).
Take the kids and have a great family outing!
Nice par 3 course. Greens and tee box are in good shape. Great place to practice approach shots and putting.
