Course condition
This course was in great shape for the time of year even with the construction going on. Well maintained greens and fairways.
Fun and relaxing course, playable for all skill levels
Greens were excellent, fairways good, rough a bit brown but playable. Good variety of holes. Pace of play was excellent. Great value with golfnow deal. 2nd time playing this year will definitely play again. Construction on 6 tee just changes it from par 5 to par 4. Some long walks between holes many will want to ride a cart.

Nice course worth of the money snd trip
Very nice course worth of the trip for 45 minutes drive.
Play black tee, pretty challenging course
The only down side is the construction seems forever! Number 6th hole changed from original 600 yards to the current 390 yards due to construction.
Doon Delivers...again.
Doon Valley is a course owned by the City of Kitchener adjacent to Conestoga College and the 401. We began our round at 2;00 and completed 18 holes in just under four hours. The course was in good condition, especially considering how dry our summer has been...there were a couple of dry spots around the greens on the Cambridge holes. otherwise, it was an excellent day and my two guests from Sarnia liked the course and want to return next summer.

Grass is quite lush, some construction going on but only affects the Tees on 6.
Play was slow.

First time playing. - nice course - some challenging shots - I had a great time playing there. Will be back for sure!

But. Layout is not good for 18 holes. They have one 9 hole for short game or real beginers.
Also 18holes for regular golfers, you have to go cross highway 401 under the bridge.
Even there was construction going on.
Great scenery to walk, great price, staff were very friendly.
Overall it was good experience.
Don’t walk 18
There is some long walks between some holes which includes hills. Walking is doable but I regretted it by the 10th hole. The high way construction has moved some tee blocks. Over all though it’s a good course and will play again, I’ll just pay the $12 for a cart.
