Course was almost unplayable
We have had wet weather lately but the course does not drain well at all. Our round was 6 hours! We had a foursome but our 4th left after 9 holes due to the course being cart path only and he is 84 and unable to get around very well without a cart. Forest city national is always a slow round which is unfortunate because I like the lay out but tee times are just too packed in. We had a group drive past us and were just calling it quits because the pace of play was way too slow. We were waiting 5 minutes between shots.
Golfing or swimming ?
More water on this course than I've seen at a water park. Everything was flooded and f you hit a deep drive the ball would end up 2 inches under the ground plugged.
$60.00 is what we paid and this course was not worth $10! Over booked which caused the slowest round in history. Played 13 holes in 5.5 hours and left because I didn't have time to continue playing. This was a greedy move by booking so many groups. I've played here 30 times last season and 2 already this season and I won't be back.
Course was closed
The course was closed today, so I couldn't play today.
I'm asking for a refund on golf.
Please check it and refund.
The course was unplayable because it was too wet. The persons in the pro shop agreed.
Very disappointed
Purchased a hot deal four days prior to come from 3 1/2 hours away to play with my dad for his birthday. When we got to the course at 10 am the gate was locked. Tried calling the course and got the answering service that couldn’t get through to anyone. Went to the website and it said the course was closed.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this course a few times prior and have been very happy with GolfNow, but today we were very disappointed with both. We went to Pine knot and the pro was super accommodating. He told us they were fully booked but do what he could to get us in as he
felt bad for us. The course was in immaculate shape for this time of year and the pace of play was great. Looks like we found a happy ending to the day and a new favourite course in the London area.
Firm, fast, big greens
It was cold and very windy. We all had difficulty with shots holding on the greens, and with putting because the greens were very fast.
Beautiful course
The only complaint was how near useless the gps on the Cart was it never gave me any hole details until I was arriving at my SECOND shot then it froze from the 7th hole until the 18th no matter the buttons I pressed nothing happened. Pretty frustrating especially playing by yourself.
Great course for the value
Nice course, little slow pace, expect 4-6 hrs play.
Great value for this course, under $25 on GolfNow Hot deal.
great course
The weather was brutal but the course was in great shape, all items such as cart and off fairway conditions were fantastic
Great course!
Course is kept in prestigious condition. Beautiful scenery at an affordable price. Watch out for those fast greens!
would go back
I must say, koodos to the staff and greens keeper. The course was in very good shape and a pleasure to play. The holes were not too long, but very challenging. The pace of play was slow, 5hrs 10 min, because we had a threesome in front of us that were beginner golfers and had very little golf etiquette. There were no marshals around to help out nd that was the only downfall. I will be back to play again.
As always, a great round
My dad lives in London and this is always our course choice. Scenic views with a great layout. The green side bunkers were a little too shallow to get under the ball-I don’t remember ever having that issue before here.
We played with a couple of sisters who schooled us. They were great to play with and very patient with our mediocre play : )
Will definitely be back. Beat course in London for the dollar value.
Course conditions were good overall. Sand traps were very hard and need sand/machining. The pace of play was very slow. Tee off was 15-20 minutes late. 18 hole time was 5 hours 10 minutes.
