Bushwood Golf Club

The main complaint is that there were no yardage markers (50, 100, 150, 200) so without your own GPS unit it was very difficult to determine distance to the greens. The greens were in pretty good shape but the bunkers were so hard that they had to be considered ground under repair. Not a pretty course. The rough was really deep and hard to find a ball that missed the fairway by even a few feet. No very busy on a cool windy day so we were able to play 18 in 4 hours at a leisurely pace.

Bushwood golf course is a unique course and fairly challenging. Some blind shots, only three par three's
and trees/creeks/water that could come into play. You can play the course long around 6000 yards or short approx 5200 yards. Its a good course to walk since its relatively flat hence no need to rent a cart which saves you money.

I have played here on numerous occasions over the years, yet still the carts have no bag covers in case of bad weather, like it was when I've played.(everything gets soaked). One accepts the fact that if playing in the rain, you'll get wet. I'm sure the covers aren't cheap.. but purchasing some at a time, (over the years) all the carts would have had them by now. After all die hard golfers will golf in the rain, and the course should try to make the golfing experience as pleasurable as possible under not so pristine conditions .

A course to have all level of skills for an ametur golfer to enjoy the course.

Some holes fairways very close side by side you have to watch out balls by hitting from other side of the fairway.

Green condition was bad. It seems I was putting on fairway.

This course is relatively forgiving which makes it good for reasonably new golfers. Fairways were fairly well maintained. Tee boxes definitely need some work. Green's were sometimes dirty with a variety of things (twigs, leaves, dirt). Wouldn't judge the quality of the sand traps as it rained earlier that day. Played an afternoon round for $42 with a cart which is very reasonable for this course. Course has a decent driving range/putting green to practice before the round.

Nice course for your driver. Lots of long tee shots. Not the most challenging of courses. Layout was rather plane jane. Nothing to write home about.

Took 3 buddys out course was good greens were in excellent shape even got to tee off early. Great day with friends

Course is tougher then I expected it to be. It is somewhat tight. If you are off the fairway, it is tough to find your ball because the rough is thick and for some reason, there are quite a few leaves everywhere (not even fall season). Besides having leaves everywhere, the course is well groomed. Staff is very friendly too.

I haven't played here in a long time. The management must have changed because the course has definitely improved! From the greens, to the fairways, to the bunkers.......all improved and upgraded. I really enjoyed my round and I will surely return! Keep up the good work Bushwood!

Been playing this course for a long time, learned to play golf on the executive course 28 years ago and we are still playing here. its home to our monday night mens league which is great and pretty well run, good prizes. This course tends to be our reliable go to. can always get out, has a range and nice putting green, perfect course for working on your game. The front is a bit repetative, not crazy exciting with only one par 3, but the back nine offers a better mix of holes, two challenging par 3s. Good course for all ages and skill levels, and wont break the bank.

I golf here quite a bit, it is good value and pace of play is good on weekdays. Course is fairly easy but has enough length and variety to be enjoyable. Greens are always very slow.

This has been our go to course this Summer. It is approximately a 45 min ride from Toronto depending on the traffic. We tend to tee off at 12, so we always have availability on Saturday. This course has running hills, nice fairways, tall grass, tree lining courses and a pond. The grounds are always well maintained with some challenging areas.
We have eaten at the clubhouse lunch or an early dinner. The selection has healthier options as well as chicken wings and burgers. The food is very tasty, our favorite is definitely any of their wraps!

I think it is great course for beginners who want to try long drives too.

Good layout with enough hazards to make it interesting. The course was dry in some areas while had puddles in some. Overall, it was a good course to play.

Overall, the course is nice to play. Things that I don't like:
- the greens and the next tees are too close together. It would be better if there are nets that one can stand behind at the tees.
- too many cart path only holes. It is a walkable course, but it should be more rider friendly.
- hole 16 is too distracting with a busy road on one side and a big pond on the other. Netting along the road where the pond is would be great.

Course is in great shape , good place ,staff friendly.
