Great day of golf
Tee's and fairways in pretty good condition but greens need some major improvement. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Over-all I had a great afternoon of golf at a nice peaceful pace.
beautiful back nine
greens need work but very scenic course and got to watch pops knock in a160 yd eagle on the par 4 8th hole
Great course for laidback play and not too many hazards. Ideal for working on ones short game or just want to knock 'em around.
Super staff and the course is in decent shape. A few of the greens need attention but hey it's winter. Not overly challenging but enough to make you think. Great place for youth as well since the holes tend to be a little shorter than most courses. Thank you to AJ and his staff.
Some nice holes
The recent fires clearly affected the course. The fairways and greens are in decent shape but unfortunately the pristine pines are mostly gone. Staff was excellent. The course layout was confusing but overall a good deal for the money.
This Course has beautiful landscapes
This golf course is a great course to play to enhance your game a little. There are a few challenges along the way as far as dog legs that are almost 90 degrees, up and down hill shots, and a few undulated greens. All in all this is a great course for the money spent on green fees. The only thing I would suggest is more signs to get you to the right tee box, as this gets a little confusing at times. Not good to be distracted on where the next tee box is and not have your head in the game. I would play this course again now that I know where all the tee boxes are laid out on the course.
Few sand traps. A couple are overgrown. Greens are smooth and great for making putts if you get the ball to stay on green .
I always enjoy the State Park golf course. 5 par fives. Par 71
beautiful back 9
front 9 pretty plain, back 9 more picturesque and tighter fairways with lots of up and down tee box to green. back 9 better of 2, tougher as well. Enjoyed the round and will play again.
Good shape
Overall good shape need to fix sprinkler heads around greens and T boxes cart paths are very rough
Nice and Open
The staff was very friendly, The course has a nice layout, a little confusing on getting from hole to hole, but well kept.
good recovery from the massive fire
very maintained. number 8 and 17 seem to be the nice holes to me.
Thank God for the back 9 and cheap price. Pasture course.
This is a beginner course, reasonably priced. The front 9 reminds me of a pasture with small greens. However the back 9 (newly developed), is slightly more challenging and much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The course in general is fair, yet priced well. Great to give a try if you need to save money. Just keep your expectations low and go have some fun. Great staff. Simple country style.
