Dust, Noise and Construction
It is a usually a great course to get in to a new season of golf as it is a well maintained and forgiving course. This time I really did not enjoy my round of golf as the noise from the huge consteuction site next to the course made play unpleasant and the huge dust clouds coming across the course every time a big truck drove by was horrible.
I'm sure next year or ghe year after will be better but I am not going to play the course again until this is sorted.
Great course
The course is in great shape.
There is a train line for freight cars which runs across the course so you sometimes have to wait about 5-10 minutes but it's fun to see the cars.
Also, you play around electricity towers which are large so no danger. If you end up behind once it's hit it, you get a free lift.
Very fun!
My Experience
Mike is an awesome dude! I played a lot every season and I think I deserve a free round of golf, lol.
Valley course
Course was very soggy from 3 days of rain...not the courses fault.
Several greens had winter kill, circular 3" deadspots covering the green. They really should not be playing on them, put up temp greens and fix them/re-sod.
pace of play for 3-some was 3hrs 15min, we teed off at 8am.
