Remington Valley
The valley is a challenging course. It’s all hits and valleys with tons of mature trees and shrubs.
It would be challenging to do the course without a cart.
Overbooking the cause of poor pace of play.
Pace of play had us waiting at every hole. No beverage cart either just a hut somewhere along the course.
Nice course..good pro shop staff..just a great day
Valley Course
Tricky course. Nice layout and worth every cent . Love playing either Courses. Been playing here since the 80s . Hope Remington does not sell out to housing.
awesome staff and fun to play.
Just outside the city limits in Markham, on steeles. eastbof Marham road, south of the 407, it's easy to get to from anywhere in the GTA and never disappoints.
The shorter valley course looks easy on paper, but is all about hitting your targets, and very tricky to make par if you don't.
The upper is longer (from blues) but has lots of risk/reward shots that will make or break you. Birdies are possible, but 8's are just as likely if you find trouble. I was 3 under at 14 and went bogie, bogie, birdie, bogie, bogie to finish even par.
It's a great value and I recommend it to anyone. Our twosome finished in 3.6 hrs on The Upper. and 4 hours on The Valley.
This course has become a go to course for myself. Friendly staff and always reasonable when needed.
This always make for an enjoyable round!
Valley course
I like the way the course is kept in good condition. The eleventh tee is getting better. The signs on the twelve hole are much needed. More signs indicating where toxic plants are would be appreciated.
