The sign in computer system is slow. It felt like a long time before I could check out. Driving range conditions are good and free range balls. The first nine holes are fairly easy. The back nine holes are more challenging. The putting greens are in good condition for this time of the year. Course layout is straight forward with hazards in the correct locations. So for a first timer at this course I was able find and avoid the hazards. Overall I would go back if I can find another deal.
there are nicer courses out there for cheaper, not worth the money
FIrst time playing this course. amenities are very nice however it did take 15 minutes to get a hotdog at the turn, You get unlimited balls on the driving range with green fee. the course itself is just average feel like the only reason this course can justify the price is the proximity to the GTA as the course layout is slightly above average. pace of play was good. 3.5hr for 18 holes
Always great shape, course was empty for a Sunday round. Pin placement was too severe for public play too severe and close to edges.
Other than that awesome day
Close to town and worth every buck. Fantastic walking course with a great finish. 16-18 are great.
Golf course did not ackowledge my booking
Booked a round of 18 hole for 2 with golf cart. Was charged $40 for the cart
Nice mature course. Was private up until this year. Interesting lay out.cart paths need some attention. Recently upgraded clubhouse has great food
Unfortunately, I cant recommend this course for the money you pay to play.
I've been wanting to play this course for the past two years and unfortunately, when I played the course, it looked like it wasn't maintained at all. Disappointing!!!
Friendly staff, and the course was well maintained!
I gave it a shot...as a senior
For the price and the value I got out of it I would not play it again. There are many courses in the area that are of better value such as Pipers Heath, Dragons Fire, Royal Ontario and one I really love is Lowville .
For a private (semi?) course there is nothing special about it, but I don't mind playing it when the price is right. Everything about the course is average. I play public courses with better amenities, better condition and cheaper regular price.
Overall, really enjoyed playing the course. Well designed, with some good intrigue.
Greens were a bit slow and the number of un-repaired ball marks was shocking.
Nice to have the course available for public play!
Would definitely recommend and play again.
Nice old layout
The course was great. Front nine seemed easier for me, as the holes were straightforward, with few hazards. More traditional old course with tree-lined fairways where you could spray the ball but be able to find it and get it back in play. Back nine was trickier and more difficult for me, with more water, longer carry over hazards and more doglegs. More target golf on the back on a few holes.
Played the round in 3 hours and 5 minutes (yes 18 holes) I was not playing with Bryson D.
Finally played the course that had been private for 60 years. Was disappointed with the conditions - dug up tee boxes, ball marks on greens, range balls in fairway of 1 hole, patchy grass in a few fairways, and gravel cart paths.
Nice driving range and putting green.
New restaurant and building is nice.
Small pro shop and friendly.
Would play it again but hopefully they improve the conditions.
