I really like this course- but it’s getting a little rough
Great place to play golf, I really enjoy playing here. Some interesting an challenging holes. Very walkable.
This is my 3D time playing here this year.
I’ am noticing some rough patches. Greens have a lot of un- repaired ball marks & tee boxes ar pretty barren & brown.
My sense is that this course is getting a lot of rounds on it& it’s starting to show.
Still enjoy it & would recommend it.
It is a excellent golf course for long shots with majority of holes par 4 or 5.
Pace was good , finished in 3 hrs 45 mins, the course is mostly straight forward with lesser difficulties
Used to be good
Course is no longer maintained the same way that it was pre Golfnorth, once again despite COVID rules the course was overbooked, fairways were burnt and divots on the greens didn’t seem like they'd been addressed in a few days, but sadly I will be back because of the course layout and staff friendliness.
Expected Something Much Better...
Have heard about Trafalgar GC for years. Finally decided to play it. Was not impressed at all. Cow pasture. Poorly kept tee boxes. Weeds where flowers could have been! Only so much can be blamed on Covid.
Terrible Conditions/Value
Very poor value for money. We found most of the tee blocks to be completely torn up by divots or burnt out, a large number of the bunkers were washed out with exposed pipes, and the greens were in too rough shape to really make any decent putting stroke. At the price charged, this has to be one of the biggest disappointments in the GTA, which is a shame because the course itself is a great layout and full of potential.
Terrible
I can not believe we spent $90 without cart and $118 with cart for a course with basically no tee boxes. The tee decks were all burnt or had no grass at all. This was a terrible experience and asked for a refund. It could not get a straight answer. Things like this should be stated on the app and not a surprise when you show up
Trafalgar
Venue was in decent shape considering the hot dry season we’ve had over the past 4/5 weeks. Not a lot of elevation changes.....hard to just off coarse amenities during COVID.......no beverage cart is a downer
Walkable course with chance to score well
Very walkable course and has room in the fairways for good shots. Don't have to have perfect drives. Greens are really fair too.
Always an excellent experience
It’s a very nice course to begin with. Nothing overly complex. Gives you a chance to post a decent score. Well laid out in very nice condition overall. Brad the pro who was working in the shop that day is excellent and really helpful. Pace was ok. I played at 6.30pm on a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend this course.
Easy walking course
Conditions get worse as the season goes on. Greens are too spongy, and you almost break your wrist trying to fix a ball mark.
