This course is amazing!
This is my third time playing this course and it is in great shape. The greens are in great shape the maintenance crew is doing a fabulous job. It was really busy but everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend playing this course. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!
Had an awesome round today!
First time golfing Springwater, and I had a blast golfing this diverse course. There was a slight, unexpected frost delay, but the friendly and efficient staff managed the delay with ease, and we were able to golf a relaxing and not-rushed round. I will definitely be back for more!
Decent course, terrible staff
I’ve tried to write a negative review twice of the horrible experience I had at Springwater with rude staff, but the reviews have been blocked...probably because of the profanity that I wrote that was directed towards me by the staff there. So instead of writing down the profanity I will just say that both times I went to Springwater this month (2nd time because of a rain check certificate), I was disrespected by the staff and I will never go back there.
Course is well maintained and is challenging, but I don’t need to be disrespected and treated horribly by staff anywhere I go, and there are lots of other golf courses in the Barrie area that will treat me with respect and will allow me to have a much better golfing experience.
Great bang for your buck
Great course with every club in the bag being used. Tricky greens to putt, but true. Amazing value for your dollar compared to other courses in barrie.
Thanks for your taking the time to write a review. Hopefully we can earn a 5 star next time you play, we strive to keep improving the course.
Course is in Excellent Shape
This course is a 5 star, right from the staff to the greens. This is my second round there and I am definitely making it my course of choice. It’s tougher than some courses I’ve played so I’m sure that is why they get bad reviews.....when people play bad they always blame the course! I would definitely recommend playing there.
Nice Surprise Great Value!
My son (16) and I were looking for a reasonably priced course near Collingwood and decided to try Springwater. Average 3 star feedback rating doesn't do it justice. Great conditions, full length par 72, 4 tee boxes, and friendly staff! We were so impressed we booked another round for the next morning. We walked Day 1 and road a cart Day 2. The walk was challenging but enjoyable. Worth checking out!
Depends how you look at it!
The course itself is not a bad course but the fact that there is no Marshall or starter proves to be a huge disadvantage when playing this course.. The fact that they let groups of 5 and 6 people go out together really slows everyone behind them. Every hole today had a wait and became somewhat frustrating by the back 9. For the money you pay you could play at a course that is better managed. Also the claim of proper golf attire is a joke as people were out there today in t-shirts and cargo jean shorts, this too was not addressed by staff.
Great layout. The important stuff being. tee blocks and greens We’re mostly great condition. Fairways could be better in some cases. Overall great experience
Great course for the price!
Nicely kept greens for a public course. Rough was thick and a challenge to play through. Fairways were green and skinny! Great course for the price!
Hidden among the cornfields of Springwater
First time playing this hidden course among the cornfields. Course was in ok shape. Relatively wide open with a couple of nice looking par 3s. Great value with the Golf Now Hot Deals.
