Average golfer course
Average course. Not bad at all. Just got rained out on the 7th hole :(
Best value in Barrie area
I have played at many courses in the area and this course is by far the best value. Greens are in excellent shape as well as the fairways. The greens keeper is doing a fabulous job. You won’t be disappointed with this course. It’s a hidden gem!
Condition wasn’t great
I was a member here years ago, and they’ve done a lot of work to improve the layout but the condition of the course is nowhere near what it used to be. The rough is mostly weeds, and many of the greens have sandy spots around the edges. I’m not sure if the tee blocks were just moved up for the day, but the course was much shorter than the posted distances. Overall not bad, but I think I’d go elsewhere before paying full price
Course in great condition
As usual we had a great day, the course is in great condition, the staff is very friendly including the dog! I would highly recommend trying this Course you won’t be disappointed!
Not bad
Not a bad course to play for the money, the fairways are like your front and back yard grass, full of weeds and pretty long, we played at 7:00am and the grounds keeper followed us through 13 holes with his tractor running the whole time, he was grading the bunkers with the tractor on every hole while we were chipping around the greens and putting, he never tried to get ahead of us or let us get ahead of him. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me.
poor booking times
my time was booked on a day the club championship was being held. The play was extremely slow. The course was not cleaned up after a wind storm and the greens are rough.
Great Course for the Average golfer
I always enjoy playing this course especially when you can get a hotdeal rate on golfnow.. The course is great for the average golfer who doesn't expect pristine fairways or greens, and likewise for the novice golfer who wants to play a longer course without being pressured by those who think they're on the PGA tour.
I've seen the course in better shape, but it is still very playable. We had an early morning tee off and pace of play was excellent as the course wasn't too busy.
The staff were very welcoming & friendly, so I'm not sure what the complainers expect.
We look forward to playing here again.

Waste of time
Played first off in the morning, so the pace was good.I realize you get what you pay for but this was a waste of money. If I was offered to play this course for free I would be very happy to say no thanks!

Could use some water on the greens.

Worth the $50 to play and ride
With the amount of rain we had this year the greens were in terrible shape.......will never play this course again......in my opinion they charge twice what the course is worth to play
