Good day
It was cool and windy but I managed to shoot my average
Course is in Good Condition
Always enjoy playing this course. Pace is usually quite good. The track is generally in good condition, same with the greens. Two negatives is 1) Chippewa often sets Golf Now specification to 2-4 golfers. This cuts the single players out. I think this is a oversight and easily corrected. 2) The power carts can be weak at times. I recommend better quality control on the charging process or mechanical fixes.
Overall I recommend this course , Just wish I could play as a single through golf now
SLOW!!
I have played this Course many times before and there was no problem with pace of play. But, yesterday was a 5 1/2 hour game. Not sure where the Marshals were.
Management
The course was overcapacitated. Management Charges lower prices to get people to bite which I get but having tee times every 5 minutes does not help anyone. Constantly waiting after every shot was a disappointment. It took 3 hours to golf 9 holes when the course has 27. Figure it out Chippewa and stop taking people’s money. 6 hour rounds is absurd. The cherry on top is having a groups ahead of you with children 10 years old taking shots. It puts everyone behind and people do not have time for that. I will not be back.
This course has some challenging holes
Course was in good shape, pace was good. Third time play it still weant to come back, good value for make we paid.
Very good course
First time golfing at Chippewa Creek. Friendly staff. Good amenities in clubhouse. Good variety in course layout, challenging but not impossible. Fairways and greens in decent shape. I will golf there again.
I’ve played here many times
Yes I have played here quite a bit and have reviewed this course before and like I’ve reviewed before doesn’t any one that plays this course know how to fix a ball mark. It’s brutal but another thing that I didn’t like this time around is how long the rough just off the fairways people will look for their balls because it landed right there that slows up play considerably. The course is in good shape it’s fairly open so you can spray a bit and not be in too much trouble.
Our neighborhood golf course
For those who live in the neighborhood good golf course to go to you meet lots of good friendly people .
Nice patio to have drink or two after your round and
very friendly staff
☆☆☆1/2 , ☆☆☆☆ golf course.
Great Affordable Course
We play here quite often. Price is right, layout is fairly challenging depending on which nines you play. The red nine is the easiest, with the gold being a bit more challenging and the white being the most difficult. At least that's what I find. We played the white and gold on this day and overnight rain meant 90 degree rules with the carts. However, the course was in really good shape, greens are quick.
My only complaint is with the golfers who don't fix their ball marks. There were a few greens that were very badly marked.... not the courses fault, just some inconsiderate golfers.
We always stay and have breakfast or lunch afterwards. Food is quite good and reasonable. It should be noted that we play early in the morning on weekends as they seem to be a popular course for tournaments.
Feel good course!
This course is great for all level players with 4 sets of tees. Conditions were fairly good in spite of the drought in this area. Red course is a nice warm up to the second nine the gold which has a more interesting layout. Pace was great. Finished in just under 4 hours. This is a fairly flat track, wide open course wiith some challenging greens. Over all a great course to practice the short game. Would recommend it.
Good
Like this course. We play a few times a year. Always friendly staff. Challenging holes and greens. Some water and sand.
Great Value
The course is very well maintained with consistent greens . Very wide open fairways. Great for someone working on their game!
Long course, great value
Long winding course, use every club in the bag. Greens are not too difficult, but you need consisent shots to score low. Bunkers were terrible though, hard almost like concrete. Fairways and greens were well maintained though. 3 different 9 hole courses make each experience different.
unsafe
will not be back to this course...UNSAFE... greens are beside a fair amount of tee boxes...played the RED and WHITE NINES... balls were coming from everywhere nearly hit 5 times ...ball marks all over the greens ...nobody repairs ...fairways were very good , bunkers were hard , beer cart was great....this course would be good for mixed low budget scramble tournaments ...BRING YOUR HARD HAT !!!!
Nice
First time playing this course and I really enjoyed it. Was early for our tee time so they let us go right away. Didn’t think it was too tough though it’s an equal mix of par-3s, 4s, and 5s. I think it’s three par 5s in the first 7 holes. Greens were quick. I’d come back here and play again. I can buy back the half dozen balls I lost. Bad round today.
Awesome foursomes
Great time Friday afternoon twilight with 4 friends.
