So good.
I enjoyed playing golf with my family and friends. This course conditions are good.
Great course
My first round at this great course was fantastic, the staff was friend And the course was well kept. It had its fair share of challenges and some easier holes. It isn’t the toughest course I’ve played but definitely not the easiest. The grounds were very well kept, not a lot of hazards which can help even the newest of golfer navigate this course. I will definitely come back and recommend this course to anyone looking for a nice course to challenge new to experienced golfers.
Average golf
As you can see by my scores this course is average. I know that is been a tough spring but it’s a tough round at Chippawa. Thing are in tough shape but have no problem charging you top dollar. I booked threw golf now but to cart was almost the same price as golf and cart path only that was expected but full price it will be a while before I’m back
Golfer
The course has not drained and was wet with high grass in most areas.
Wet day
Great day.. got soaked and full of mud but fun
We walked and pushed cart.. very relaxing
Good to wear FJ old school waterproof with spikes
First time out
The course was in good shape, some wet spots. Greens were good but slow for this time of the year. If it wasn’t for the wind the day would have been perfect.
Good early season round !
Played the course for the first time in early April. Enjoyed the layout with a number of dog legs, water carry shots, and some undulating greens.
The fairways and greens were cut and in good condition for early season. Two us played in 3 hours. The staff was friendly and the $25 early season rate makes it the best value around.
great first round of the year course
as expected for this time of year it was wet but not unplayable. greens were in nice shape fairways ok but in a couple weeks should be fine.
Real nice blend of holes. Greens were obviously slow for this time of year but very undulating. Can’t wait to come back and putt them in the summer
Poorly Managed
Worst day of golf at the course all year. Staff were actually cutting the fair while we were driving onto it!,
One nine was closed for fall prep. But instead of booking less players, they tried to squeeze a crazy amount of people onto the same nine at once. Coming from someone that has experience with course management, this was a disaster. I honestly think they have no idea how to run an efficient course.
I don not recommended this course. Spend your money elsewhere... lots of great courses in the same area. Knollwood is run much better and it’s just down the street.
Pace of play is horrible
The course itself is in good shape. It’s a relatively nice course to play for the average golfer as it is fairly open and not to punishing. However, we will not play here again. It was about our 10th time playing and the pace of play has ground to a halt. The last 3 times we’ve played it was a 4 1/2 to 5 hour round. This course should be playable in 3 1/2 easily. No Marshall’s to be found. Not sure what the issue is but it is no fun to be waiting at least 10 mins between shots. It’s a shame as I said the course is in good shape is a good value for the money but all of that is taken away by the horrible pace
Great Value
Best course conditions in the Hamilton area. Prices from golf to food & beverages are great value. Staff always working hard to make golfers feel welcome & well treated.
A good deal
Paid $25 with cart with Golf Now hot deal. The course was a bit wet due to heavy rain but in very good condition overall. The greens and fairways are in nice shape but the rough is a bit long and is easy to lose a ball or adds time searching for balls just off the fairways. The pace of play was very good. Played 18 holes in under four hours.
