Beautiful Course
Four gals from Toronto played this course that was highly recommended to us. Everything was so well maintained from tee decks, fairways, bunkers, to greens. Super friendly staff will definitely be back to this amazing course!
Best Public course I’ve played in Ontario
A very experienced Ontario golfer took me here and said there was nothing comparable in the GTA or Golden Horseshoe. After playing I couldn’t agree more.
This course is setup for people who love the game of golf and appreciate the things that tell you a course cares. In no particular order here are the things that I loved:
- Level tee boxes
- Pure and challenging greens
- Deep quality sand
- Well maintained fairways
- Overall maintenance was great
- Ability to find your tee shot (no gimmicks)
- Great good and beverages at the turn
- Friendly staff
This place is a little slice of heaven on earth and really put an exclamation mark on a great trip to Niagara region (which was absolutely fantastic aside from the wine).
The deer flies ruined an enjoyable afternoon
Everything was ok….course was in very good condition! Except how can you enjoy yourself when the flies ate you alive ! I awoke this morning and there were ticks in my bed . Besides the flies we waved away while golfing! I won’t go back till I know when fly season is over.
Poorly Monitored Pace of Play
The front nine moved along well. Made the turn and it appeared that they were putting people out the back in front of those making the turn. Extremely slow. After waiting on a number of holes with 4 groups waiting on each hole, called the pro shop but they didn't seem to care and didn't send anyone out to check on pace of play. Quite a few groups out playing with 5 people per hole as well.
Great course, great people.
Great conditions. Nice pathways. Really nice staff. Unfortunately I booked behind a company outing, so the round was 5h, but that can happen anywhere on a Saturday. A little pricey in comparison to surrounding courses. I would put it on par with Legends Battlefield, probably better conditions. A little too flat for my liking. Didn’t like the blind shot on the par 5, almost hit someone. Course can be really challenging with the amount of bunkers and they are in fantastic shape. A top 5 in Niagara for sure.
Course in Great Shape for Early Spring
Very surprised how well the course in mid May. Greens although they look funny due to the type of grass, these greens were fast.
Great Experience
I played on a Thursday afternoon. The course was shockingly dead, so I was able to play in under 3 hours with a cart. Any groups I caught up to were quick to let me pass.
The course was in stunning condition. Greens were quick and smooth. There are some challenging holes that will test even the best golfer's, but the course is also enjoyable for the average golfer.
The clubhouse is nothing special, but the course is by far the nicest public course I've played in the Niagara Region.
I would definitely play again.
