Stay away from this course if you are beginner
Marshals are rude and put pressure on you immensely. Though your pace can finish within 4hr, if twosome wait for foursome, marshal would shout at you. Courses are surrounded by houses which are being built. Dust and noise is normal. Course layout and green were fair. Close to QEW can be noisy but easy access to highway.
Love the course! Slow pace of play
Always enjoy a round here but this previous outing was extremely clogged. I didn’t see one staff member riding around policing the speed of play. It was still enjoyable but maybe something to look into.
Also teeing off on hole 3 was a bit scary. Golfers were hitting off the driving range with the wind at their backs and some balls actually came over the net and almost hit us. One ball plugged right into the tee box 6 inches from my uncle while he was about to hit.
Great value for the money
Still one of the best value for money golf courses you can play in the area. Layout is fair and fun, and makes it interesting as you can go for it in spots. Great spot and always happy to return there.
We teed off at 1:30 and the pace was very slow-we had to wait on nearly every hole
Glad to revisit
Hadn't played this course in 20 years. It used to be, for all intents and purposes, an overpriced goat track. Not the case anymore. From the very friendly reception of the pro shop staff to the starter giving us a few new balls he'd found, to the lush condition of the course and the fairly challenging nature of the layout, it was a great evening (we played 18 holes in four hours and 15 minutes, after teeing off around 4 p.m.
There have clearly been changes to the layout and course conditioning since I was there last. Looking forward to visiting again.
Found the course staff very friendly and understanding as we were delayed due to traffic by about 10 minutes but they still accommodated us - much appreciated!
The conditions were good but dry - hard to imagine what it'll be like into July & August. Probably similar tales from most courses in the soutwest GTA.
The one main drawback was the lack of clear definition of the fairways and hole layouts. There were a number of holes where it was rather unclear as to the layout - is this going left or right? A few blind shots with hidden water traps were most annoying.
A better definition / landscaping with perhaps some higher rough to allow for a better visual of where the fairway is leading would help.
Not a great value
I have played this course before however the rates have increased drastically and I don’t believe it’s a value for your money anymore.
Greens are very pitted, all wash stations are all closed and we’re closed all last season.
I just think there are better courses in this price range
Good course for the money
The course was littered in leaves but jays that’s to be expected in Nov. but this did make it extremely hard to see balls if you only knew the location area. We played at 130 the guy in the pro shop told us we could only have the cart for nine or use it for 14 and bring it back or take a push cart after the 9th. We chose to take the push cart because we wanted to play more. We still saw carts out on the course after the guy told us we would have had to bring it in. I think we got bad advise. Would have been more enjoyable to use the cart for 18 and probably finish the course. We got to 16 and had to call it.
T boxes were also set off the normal box just on a part of rough grass it was very uneven and made the experience much less desirable. The course was also in pretty bad condition water and mud everywhere. My clubs were covered in mud.
Over all I think this would be a very nice course in the summer but when we went the course was in bad condition and got bad advise from the pro shop staff as we’ve never played there.
