Historical Canadian Open Venue
I love to play this course specifically when they offered special rate.
Good condition and good practice facilities.
Great first experience at Glen Abbey
I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Glen Abbey. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The course was in excellent condition. The pace of play was excellent and I was lucky enough to have a beautiful fall day to play. It was so great to play a classic course I had seen many times over the years on tv in the Canadian Open. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to others looking for a great golf experience.
Glen Abbey still great!
My first time playing Glen Abbey was an amazing experience. I was lucky to have a beautiful fall day to play. The course was in excellent condition and was a challenge the whole day. So many beautifully designed holes but all very playable. The greens were very difficult but again very playable. It was great playing where I know so many of the best to ever play the game have played. The paraphernalia in the clubhouse is quite awesome too.
Awesome
One of the last rounds of the year. Weather was really nice, people in the group were great. Had a first timer so I took some photos of them on $11 tee.
Some of those pins! Yikes, tucked way over by the side.
Good price for a change. Glad I went.
Thanks everyone.
Last game of the season!
Course was in great shape.15th tee box lousy. Other than that was a great day. I for one really love playing this course. Little $ so only get to play it once in awhile
Revisited
Played this course a few years back and vowed never again, for the price being charged the course was in terrible shape. Bunkers were not maintained rough was extremely unplayable. Decided to play it again at the reduced rate. It was in fantastic condition and I enjoyed it very much. Kudo's to the turf staff for doing a fantastic job. I will be back!
Wish it’s a bit faster
Got behind a slow foursome and had to wait at each hole except 16-18. They started to move a bit faster because the sun is going down and it’s getting cold. Also, by the time we finished the half-way house washrooms are already closed. Didn’t expect that since golfers are still on the course.
Brutally Slow play!!
If you like a 4 hour round or under, DONOT play at Glen Abbey!!
Amazing course
You can see the history of this course on every tee block
, fairway and green. Glen Abbey is a historic course when it comes to golf in Canada. It is still in fantastic condition, some spots have been browned out but no where near any areas people would play from. Overall I couldn’t be happier to of played this piece of art and I can’t wait to do it again. Please keep this course forever and get the Canadian open back there!!
