Amazing course
I have played this course and always enjoy! Great condition and always play alone. So peaceful, lots of wildlife and never busy! Great place to go for a walk on at a great price!
Staff
Very bad customer service
Crabby lady at the front desk
Terrible experience
Without a doubt the most embarrassing and degrading experience I have ever had playing golf. Before even teeing off my father, who is recovering from knee surgery parked at the front just to drop me off. A lady came out and yelled at us saying we can't park there. We explained we were just dropping off our things and she again very rudely told us to move. Then after the second hole her husband who owns the place asked to check out cooler, which is understandable. We only had water and Gatorade in there but then he then demanded to check inside every pocket of our gf bags. We had no alcohol on us and just wanted a nice father son day on the course. We explained our displeasure at having him inturpt us to check our bags before we agreed on a refund and to leave to the course. This was by far the least enjoyable gf day I have ever had with a rude first impression and terrible customer service on the course. Even the 2 holes we played were terribly maintained I was actually glad we left with out refund. Don't waste your time with this terrible ownership. During a pandemic golf is one of the only enjoyable things to do and this course staff is the worst I have every seen in 10 years of playing golf. Don't water your time.
Good Course for Beginners
Course has a simple, forgiving layout which is good for beginners, but fairly boring for advanced players. Very good maintenance and the only portable toilet was perfectly clean. Beer was available at the pro-shop, and the pull carts were okay.
On the negative side, pro-shop has almost nothing you need... No new balls, no gloves, no shirts. Rental clubs are basic, but bags are not properly stocked with full sets. Ours had two putters but no driver. Course had no beer carts, no water coolers at all, and very few yardage markers.
We played best-ball and our group of 4 had 3 newbies. We let two groups of 2-somes play through, and on the 9th fairway the female marshal came up to say they had a complaint about us blocking groups with our slow play. i replied that we were playing fairly fast best-ball, and we had let the only two groups we saw, play through right away. She was in the pro-shop when we finished, and she again started to lecture us about slow play as newbies, and how we should go to the range instead of their course. True, we were a little slower than normal, but it was also very hot, the course had nothing for us to drink, and we didn't block any groups but she wanted to lecture us anyway. Very poor customer service.
We will not golf here again, and we only recommend it as a simple course for beginners. Bring your own water.
This beautiful nine-hole course can be a good challenge when played from the blues as well as the whites. All holes are a good length.
This course is very well maintained with great fairways and excellent first cut. While there are nice wide landing areas, the longball hitter still has to place his drive. The large greens can be read with confidence and are consistent across the entire course. Number 8 is probably the signature hole.
a nice 9 hole track north of GTA
We've been coming here for the past 4 years about 4 times a year.
The 9 hole course is challenging because of the par 5 & 4's.
A nice little diamond in the rough within an hour north of the GTA.
Didnt honour booking from Golf Now?
Lady at desk very rude, didnt want anything to do with Golf Now. Paid posted rate!!
Nice'n Easy
This 9 hole Coarse in Orangeville Ontario was pretty good. Besides the fact that the lady there seemed like she didn't want us to be there it was quite enjoyable. Huge fairways. And the second cut is not too difficult to escape from, which makes for a nice and easy day. I would recommend this coarse for beginners practice.
Getting Better
Hadn't been there for years and it has now improved. Tree lined fairways looking good.
