Great value
This is a really nice course for the money. Great value. There is enough challenge from the tips for any golfer. Will definitely play here again
Very Good Course
Flat course so we walked. Starter person needed some common sense. We were a twosome but she insisted that we wait for another twosome to join us although the twosome ahead, in a cart, had already teed off on the second hole. Finally the other twosome joined us and we played the first hole together. At the second hole we split up. The twosome ahead had already finished the 2nd hole and the twosome that joined us were just beginner golfers and wanted to be alone together to feel less intimidated. We never caught up to the group ahead. Aside from that, the course is in excellent shape and a great value.
HawkRidge
Always fun to play when up at the cottage. Friendly on course staff. Good value.
Find a deal on golfnow
Only worth the price if you get a deal on golfnow, hawk ridge isn’t what it used to be unfortunately and the old members /staff seem miserable .
Course was in good condition. Interesting layout and tight front nine. Prefer the Meadow but both nice courses. Staff was great with frequent beverage cart visits. Overall great visit to Hawk Ridge. 4+ stars
Good course but Golf Now has no customer service
Course was great but it was heavy rain with thunderstorms and the course called everyone off. The course told us to call golf now for rain check but after painfully searching for a customer service number and then waiting on hold for over 2 hours we gave up. I really hope there are real people that work at golf now and that someone reads this to try and fix their problems…..
Spend Some Money on the Tee Boxes
The website and pictures really sell this place, but that's about it. I was taken aback when on the opening tee box you meet members in a group in front of you that apologize for conditions on some of the upcoming holes. TBH, The Meadows fairways and greens were average and bunkers adequate. What was shocking were some of the tee boxes - to allow the weeds to get out of control is criminal. Some pock-marked (bare) areas are bad enough on some tees, but those are acceptable to a certain degree. I understand nothing's perfect but management or ownership should be ashamed for not upholding basic golf course maintenance. The other 2 courses here may be fine, but I wouldn't recommend The Meadows because there are other options in this area.
Just a little expensive but it was a good course
Cheers
