Columbus Golf and Country Club

Great mid sized course for beginners or kids who want to play a “big” course. The tips offer more of a challenge for the more skilled players.

I played here today for the first time since ownership change. Course conditions were very good.
I was playing in a foursome and were right behind the group in front of us. We noticed a single behind us and with no open hole in front we did not wave him through, some holes later another single came behind him. i cannot understand why the starter would allow two singles on a fairly busy day. Any other course would have paired them together.

I played Columbus Valleymede golf course last week for the last time. That is when I learned that the new ownership are refusing to honor pre-paid tickets from 10 packs offered under the former ownership group. So the round cost me, in total, $140. I explained that I had 3 tickets left, that the previous owner had told me that those would be honored by the new owners as long as they were used in 2018. I was always treated well by the former owner over the 10 years that I golfed Columbus and had no reason to doubt him. I have been a regular customer since the course opened. I typically bought two 10 packs per year and always had 3 other golfers with me. The new owner's decision not to honor my three pre-paid rounds is simply bad business. At Valleymede, they'd rather save $105 than the lifetime business of a customer.
I escalated this to Valleymede golf course management but they continue to refuse to honor prepaid rounds. Needless to day, I will took my business elsewhere.

N good and the owner was yelling and screaming at us that we were taking to
Long and we were not good enuf golfers then began to swear and yell in my face that we hade 1 hr to finish the last 9 cuz he wanted to leve even no it was 3 pm then we went to get our bags n leve he chased us out side screamed at us infront of other costumers then got my buddy's golf clubs and threw them
On ground n tried to fight us till other ppl hade to step in. Do not waste your time and money here horrible course all greens are dirt no grass. And if management can do that to costumers that pay $60 for round. Put word out don't go to this course never!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this course when I was driving by and thought it looked nice. I gave it a try and played it several times. The price is very , very good. The course, has a great deal; of potential but is in need of some work. The greens are it best feature, and it can be a good test from the tips.. I really recommend it.* Not sure exactly the date I first played it.
