Otter Creek Golf Club

In the last few years they let the bunkers go. No maintenance just terrible. Now they are restoring the bunkers. Good idea but brought on by negligence.
Because of this the third hole was closed. Would have been nice to know before booking

Went to the pro shop to find out a hole is closed was pretty disappointing

I would have never travelled an hour to play a course with such poor conditions

Hopefully I get refund or something of value in return

This course is so beautiful. Such a hidden gem. Never seems to be super busy. Pace of play is fantastic. Marshalls do a great job having everyone pick up the pace. This course will be perfect once the bunkers are revived again.

Con: the beer cart needs to be updated. Two coolers bungee to the cart is kind of sad. Most courses have just about everything and anything available in their state of the art cart.

What an awful experience. Hadn’t played this course in years and they have let it go. We arrive and are notified that the third hole par 5 is closed. “Maintenance”. So we had to skip that hole. Then they took number 9 and stuck a pin in fairway and made it two par threes of 180 yds each. Greens were awful. Ant hills everywhere. They were finally cutting the rough. Fairways awful. Sounds like they are going to sell the place. Group on front of us was furious with the money they paid. Dog track. Wouldn’t play again for free

We try to make the trip from London once a year.
We got an amazing deal on Golf Now and played for under $50.
They are making significant renovations to the course as it required an overhaul of the bunkers.
Each week, they close a couple of holes and have made the 9th into two par 3’s to retain 18 holes of play.
I always enjoy playing this course. It demands great shotmaking and putting.
If there is one major complaint about the layout, it is the 12th hole. This par 3 is virtually impossible to hold the green on. Even if you hit it into the bail out area front right of the green, the ball will roll off the back into a catchment area. This hole needs to be totally redone. Perfectly struck irons that fly to the putting surface will ALWAYS roll off the back. This is extremely frustrating and can ruin what should be an easy par or even birdie chance.
For me, the par 5’s are exceptional on the course. The 3rd, 6th, 11th and even the 18th (the weakest of the four) are outstanding golf holes.
All in all, I enjoy Otter Creek. With the improved bunker enhancements, this course should even get better.

I like this course. I would it even more if they were to clear the bunkers of weeds and keep them all. Apparently they are filling in half the bunkers. This will take away from the challenge & looks of the course.
Some of the greens were quite challenging & fairways were well defined.

We had issues with an accident on the 401 near ingersoll so it took us 45mins longer to get there. Called the course and they made things work for us.
Course is very good condition and the bunker work is ongoing .
Front 9 plays as a 33. Back 36.
Love this golf course.

We played and the course was in good condition, maintenance staff were working on the bunkers eirher removing them or replacing the sand in them. Green where excellent... we had fun you will too. Going back again next week now that we know how fun it is.

Would not recommend this course untill they get new bunkers!

4 Star course but could be a 5 if they maintained the bunkers! But good value!

Great course layout. Challenging for average player. Greens and fairways in great condition. However the course has many bunkers that have been neglected for a long time. They are starting to fix them but not likely this year. And they have started closing down one hole at a time to repair bunkers. Will be ba k but not until these repairs ars completed.

course is a really good test of your skills, when there are 18 holes.

Highly recommended, don't come hungry, eat before you play.

A huge disappointment. All bunkers are unplayable, full of weeds. Greens had ant hills everywhere. Almost got hit by a young greens keeper, then he proceeded to stare me down. Marshall drove by at least 5 times, doesn’t stop when you are hitting and not even a simple “hi” or “how are you doing?” I have played this course in the past and it used to be in good shape. Will never book this course ever again.

Bunker conditions are too bad.

Are they grass bankers?

There's a lot of grass growing, and it's uneven because it's not leveled…

One negative - bunkers have become waste areas, but mgmt there said they are renewing them at end of July by replacing all the sand

Course is challenging for my level, but the greens and fairways are in top shape. The rough is very difficult to play for (again for my level) and can lead to many lost balls.
