Great course, excellent greens and friendly staff
We golfed on our vacation here. Unfortunately it drizzled rain the whole time but the course was naturally beautiful and the greens were in great shape. We had a slow foursome in front of us but I think that wouldn't be an issue on a sunny day as there were no Marshalls out due to the rain. The club house staff was super friendly and accommodating (they let us bring our 9 week old puppy as we couldn't leave her alone - she slept the whole day on the cart!). I would recommend it to anyone and we hope to go back and play it in the sun.
Great golf course!
What a beautiful course and friendly fellow golfers! Will definately visit again.
Great Course
I really enjoy playing this course every time I come to Parry Sound
Scenic, More difficult than length suggests.
Overall scenic, difficult and interesting layout. first 3 greens are punishing. Front nine is more difficult than the back.Power carts are in average to poor condition and expensive to rent.
excellent course for the money. very challenging.
Amazing course to play for the price. Very challenging yet understandable to play
excellent layout & condition
Great all round c;ourse to play ,will return for sure
Always a Pleasure
Parry Sound Golf and Country Club has been one of our favourit courses over the years. Gorgeous Georgian Bay terrain with its hills and valleys; great course conditions; challenging course layout make this a course we never tire of.
Very challenging
Great place to enjoy a afternoon, staff are very helpful.
This course has a good layout. Very nice to play.
We enjoyed the course. It was in great shape. It is a short course but very right.
Beautiful track but needs attention
This has the potential to be a great golf course but perhaps due to weather conditions about 4 days earlier the course was still very wet. Drainage does not appear to be adequate as after 4 days of sunshine you would expect more. Tee box divots had not been filled and sand containers on carts were not filled so there were many fairway divots not filled as well. Carts were not wiped down even though we were teeing off after 9:30 am. Very picturesque track though and many challenging holes. This is the second time this year to play and conditions were similar both times.
NIce course but too slow
A fun course to play. The back nine has very narrow fairways and we spent lots of time in the woods. There was lots of time to look for lost balls as we were waiting at every tee. All the par 3s are very short with small greens.
The course is amazing.
My wife and I had a 12:18 tee time and arrived 40 minutes early.
The starter told us to go ahead as the tee was wide open.
We didn't see another golfer til the 16 th hole. It was amazing.
The course was in excellent shape and extremely challenging for an average golfer. You can get some wicked bounces off the rocks if your shot isn't straight that can be either a good or a bad thing.
Enjoy your round , I highly recommend this course
Course is very tight and requires fairways play all day
Excellent course ... very tight and requires straight shots and greens are super fast and I mean super fast. Must take a cart and bring your best putting game with you as all greens are very tricky and 3 putting is a guarantee ... it doesn't matter how good of a putter you are !!!!!!
Practice area is at front of course and you must stop there prior to your round if you want to warm up. You can register there as well for your round.
Par 3 #5 is a dandy! And so is the blind shot on the 9th tee.
First #5: The green appears from the tee as a sliver between bunkers right front, right side and left side. Sort of what I imagine the 12th at Augusta must look like. Also the tee is protected from the wind and the short distance to the par 3 requires a high shot which must land softly but WILL be affected by the prevalent wind.
Second #9: A well placed drive will leave a risk and reward shot on this Par 5. Smart players may elect to be cautious and lay up.
Those with confidence go for the well bunkered green.

Great course to play. Pace of play reflected our ability versus any delays on the course. Despite our pace, it was a fabulous day.
Great challenge. Tough greens, fast and undulating.
Course management is a must. Some holes are tight with driver not always an option. Hole number 9 is a bit of a joke but the rest of the holes are excellent. Good value for the money especially if booked through Golfnow. Enjoyable round of golf.
Hidden gem
Great value - well conditioned, many unique holes, challenging
well manicured and challenging
This course is very nice, friendly staff, kept well, plush, and a treat to play. Located close to highway 400, it would be a great stop for the travelling golfer. Has it all for any level of golfer.
Arrive early and stop at the practice range first before checking in with the starter as the range is quite a distance from the club house & starter
Very tight course; leave driver in the bag; the most challenging 5500 yards using most other clubs in your bag. Beyond the trees, fescue and water the greens are its defences very challenging. Well maintained fun course to play leaves you wanting to try again, I will be back.
This course is very exciting to play.
This course was very challegeing for a smaller course. The greens were very tricky and the landscape was beautiful.
