Carts need up dating
Was very disappointed with the cart that I got the cart wouldn’t go unless you choked it to start it witch is a pain but can live with but my cart stalled and wouldn’t go for almost 3 mins a few times at tee offs then the roof support popped out and fell on my girlfriend great day of golf other then the course is in need of new carts!
Great track in perfect weather
Fast greens, friendly staff, and perfect weather. Really good value for your golfing dollar. Course is well maintained and the beverage cart was by tow or three times on each nine. Highly recommended.
There was a group of four, plus a walker in front of us that were very slow so we asked to go past them and they just starred at us. We then caught up to another group of four two holes later and they would visit after every shot. Very frustrating.
Mosquito heaven.
Be warned, this is a mosquito paradise. Bring the repellent instead of sun screen.
Greens were soaked as if we had a tropical storm and the cups were a good place to wash your balls. (Full of water)
Golf cart was terrible, it seemed like the front end was missing tie rods.
This could be a nice course, but the price is high compared to neighbouring courses and quality.
Possibilities
I found the course moderately difficult. The main complaints I have are the lack of yard markers (150, 100) and the poor condition of many of the fairways which were brown with very sparse grass, particularly noticeable on the front nine. The greens however were particularly good for a course like this, moderately fast and true. They were all in very good shape.
Will be back
Pretty good course. Would be even better if they can get rid of the mosquitoes#!
A gem in the kawarthas
Enjoyed the whole day, staff was friendly and the course was a good challenge
A couple of quirky holes but overall very good
A Mixed Bag….
Many Fairways needed watering to green back up. Sand traps in fair condition only. Greens generally in good condition. Like many Golf Courses these days their Green fees have been increased significantly but the course itself has remained much the same as it was previously. This is very unfortunate…..may play less.
Keystone
Good course, pretty dry. Lots of newbies playing so very slow front 9
On the right track
Been playing keystone for a few years. Nice course with good value (value isn’t quite what it used to be due to the rising golf prices). New sprinkler system seems to have brought some life back into the fairways, definitely still some dry areas. Greens have come a long way, just need to roll a bit more consistently. Overall an enjoyable round most times at keystone. Very walkable course as well.
Friendly staff well maintained
A well kept course, excellent greens, fairways neatly cut. Very playable rough. It is fun to play. Food is excellent also.
Great 18 holes
It was my first time out my husband has been to a different course a couple times we decided to try keystone and had a fantastic day we ended up playing with 2 other gentleman (our choice) the pace was good we did let a couple people play thru as I'm new but what a great day. The cart girl was on her game too she was at almost every hole.
