A bit disappointed
After driving for an hour, I was looking forward to enjoying the 4.5-star golf course (online rating). The result was a big disappointment. The course layout and course condition were very mediocre, and there were patches of yellow grass everywhere. I feel that value off the money does not match.
Why haven’t I played here before
I have nothing to say but good things about this course and the staff. Everyone was very friendly and the course was great. Will definitely book this course again! Thank you so much.
Great course
This is our second time playing this course, we really enjoyed it. We were paired up with two members which was great and helpful learning the course. Course is in great shape. Pace was a bit slow as there was a tournament that was winding down. Restaurant is great, order the fish tacos.
Real Gem
This course never disappoint. Perfect layout. Course is always in great shape. Always enjoy golfing here.
Soaked
Course needs better drainage , had a golf now deal including carts but again it was cart path only. I would have looked for a walking deal if i knew this course stays so wet.
Port Colborne CC
Greens and fairways were in fantastic condition. Very fast greens. We played late in the afternoon so I imagine the greens were even faster earlier in the morning. The rough was a swamp however and lost a couple balls in the mud. It appears they mowed the rough recently and created a mess of muddy tire tracts in the wet conditions. Good value for the money. I'd love to return mid-season when the course is dry and fast.
If the Bar Cheers was a golf course
This is the most friendliest and outgoing vourse I have ever played. Right from the time of arrival I was treated like a celebrity from Jim the starter to Greg in the proshop. I was a little disappointed when I found out there is no beer cart. The someone in the group ahead of us informed us that you just call the resraurant and they bring it rigjht to you, beer and food. Great adjustment for Covid.
The course is layedout well with very small greens which force a lot of accuracy. The bunckers could benefit from finer white sand that clump a little less. Overall I am very satified and will return.

Course is in good shape and well maintained. Staff were very friendly Ball and club washers on each cart! Greens were super fast. Great challenge!

Enjoyable round
The course was closed on our original T time on Friday 9/24 due to heavy rain saturation. We rescheduled for Monday 9/27. The course was in great shape with very few wet areas . There was no restriction for the carts and the rollout on the fairways was excellent. This is a testament to the drainage on the course. Pace of play was great and staff were very acco odating. Greens were fast and well maintained. A very enjoyable round of golf.
