Good course for new golfers
Decent course, little easy for me but it is a good course for a new golfer.
Really liked having the water in play for a couple holes and the blind second shot on 16.
Trust me , well established and thought out golf course design.
Great course to play
Overall fantastic course to play, a lot of great and different holes to keep it interesting. Amazing example that a course doesn’t have to be long to be good to play.
If any suggestion it would be great to have so driving nets set up so you can warm up.
This cource is well laid out
The farways are well groomed and the greens are in excellent condition. Some channeling par fives
Fun to play
I love this course for how much fun it is to play. Lots of unique shots with elevation changes
Course has been in good condition each of the 3 times I've played it. I'll definitely go back.
I am not a good golfer. This makes it so shocking when I realized I was the best on the course. This place bordered on dangerous there were so many rogue shots. The compact course amplified this. The course has a lot of character though so you get over it; until another drive hits your cart
Great course for golfing and very nice for Ceramoy and Photos.
Would not suggest the club house for weddings unless you can have a taist test. Kitchen was confused on type of dinner and alot of things changed during the planning increasing cost. Head table ran out of food and had to get from guest tabels, and chicken was very small and a few other things, was not worth the amount they charged. Understaffed and manager yelled at two staff while one of wedding party was asking how much longer as only salad was served in an hours time. Everything else worked well just not a great experience for changes cost and dinner. Hope they get better organized for club house
Very nice course and great for golfing and wedding ceramonies and pictures however reception was not what was expected. Expensive dinner for what was served very small 1 piece of chicken everyone wanted more, chunky potatos and ran out of food at head table of which guest tables were used to get wedding party food.. as it ran out.
There was a long wait for food as well and when one of the wedding party went to check manager yeld girls get back here and there were only two of them who were helping someone at that time. Very nice girls and they worked hard but seemed like manager was stressed and looked like this was a trial run. There was a mix up multiple times during the planning part so need to be consistant, more orginized or they shouldnt do the receptions for weddings. As mentioned very nice for ceramonies, pictures and golfing. Only.
Close to home
This is not far from where I live and is always green as they have lots of water to irrigate if needed. The front nine is a little tight but the back nine has some gorgeous holes with spectacular views.
This course is a surprise to find in Port Stanley, It has a little bit of everything. Open holes, tight treed, water, steep uphill and down hill. I played in April so the course is in spring type conditions wet and uneven fairways. But no signage on several holes to direct you to the next, No tee markers, ball washers and a tight layout..You need an electric cart because of the steep holes. It was good value and found it interesting and challenging although not log. I will play it again.
Best to avoid after heavy rain.
A picturesque course. Front nine is quite narrow, so errant shots from adjacent fairways can be a problem. Back nine traverses a couple ravines. Overall, drainage is slow so expect soggy spots after heavy rain.
We love this course but today we had to play the back 9 two times as aeration was being done on the front nine. Normally a warning would be posted on Golf Now but I did not see anything when I booked yesterday. Also the back nine where we played had some very bad holes and ground dug up on the fairways - it was hard to tell what it was from and had no rhyme or reason to the interference. The ball made some interesting jumps when hitting the holes, the ground or the mounds that were beside some of the holes. Surely hope this course if back to its lovely conditions soon.
The course was in excellent condition ,the staff were very friendly. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!
I have been playing at different courses through "Golf Now", this one is one of the best. Smaller course, good for beginners and intermediate players. Greens and fairways are well maintained. Most holes are quite forgiving but not lack of challenges.
Like the battery operated cart much better.
1st Time at Kettle Creek
Thoroughly enjoyed the first time experience at Kettle Creek. The course and greens were in great condition. We started at the end of their ladies club tournament and were greeted by a great guy in the pro-shop. He certainly made my wife and I feel welcome. The course was a bit confusing to navigate the first time.. s it had some hidden obstacles. This did not detract from our overall enjoyment. We will be back.
