Slow
Won't play there again.
Pace of play super slow due to no marshal on the course.
Slow greens as well.
Some holes are fun to play.
If there was marshal to keep everybody moving,
It would be nice place to play.
Golf course has the nicest staff
Amazing views on this hilly course. Good challenging holes and incredibly nice and friendly staff.
Great golfing day
After negative experience I described in my previous review I had a conversation with North Granite Ridge manager and found him open-minded listener with willingness to understand and solve the problem in constructive way. He clarified some issues and provided satisfactory solutions to other,..after all, I was convinced to play the course again and I was glad to do it, as I love that challenging, always in good condition with beautiful layout Muskoka gem. This time of my play, the pace was acceptable, staff very friendly and weather perfect - I do recommend this course to any player for great golfing experience.
Restroom
Need restroom on the court to accommodate women!! It would be nice !!
LOST GOLFING DAY
Extremely slow pace - over 3hr front 9 in very hot weather ( no Marshal or supervision on the course ). My all 3 partners gave up in frustration after 9 holes, than I followed them in resignation, watching four players in front of me for 30min on par3 hole. I went to the clubhouse to find a solution to that problem and met very defensive, unfriendly rep who refused to find constructive solution and kept directing me to GOLFNOW as I paid for my round over there. Eventually, manager overruled her and rewarded me with rain check for nine holes which I am not going to use as I plan never to play there again. On the top of that my plans for a dinner at the Tap and Grill after golfing had to be cancelled, to my big disappointment, as it was closed for unknown to me reason against their advertising hours of operation.
At the end I was frustrated by wasting my golfing day and by being treated in disappointing, hostile way by golf course rep, because I paid to GOLFNOW and not to the North Granite Ridge.
Sincerely,
K.Lisicki
5 1/4 hour round
Extremely slow play. Over 5 1/2 hours. Teed off at 11:45 and finished at 5 pm. Greens were super fast as they sanded them . They resodded some new tee offs since last year. Marshall's were useless . I won't play this course again
It worth the $$ for a weekday round
Unfortunately the course was in rough shape, the greens were all sanded and in fall/early spring condition. Disappointed that we had to pay full price for these conditions.
Hit it good or it's going to be a bad day.
Had a bad day of golf today unfortunately. This was not the course's fault, only me to blame. Course was in excellent shape. Because I couldn't hit the ball with any club today the course got the best of me for sure. Pretty tight fairways if you don't hit it straight but the course is in great shape. Greens were a lot faster the ones on courses played so far this year. I wouldn't have a problem recommending this course to anyone as it was in great shape. Hope to come north in the near future and play it again and hopefully I am hitting the ball better than this round or it'll be another real frustrating day on the golf course.
The course was great but a 5 hr + round took away a lot of the enjoyment
Great Muskoka Golf!
Always a great day - not super long but challenging!
