Richmond Centennial
Course is in poor shape. Rough very long. Still very wet. Fairways full of weeds.
End of year fall golf
Small well maintained 18 hole course but a challenge for all golfers. Tight fairways with strategic tree placement on holes 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 15 . Water hazards on several holes on back nine including narrow fairways and sand traps on several holes on front nine.
Leaves were removed from the fairways and greens as well as most of the rough.
Not an easy par 67 golf course.
Fun Course on a Fall Day
This was my first time golfing in over a decade! It had been raining hard the day before, so the course was wet and muddy, and couldn't be groomed. There were also many leaves on the course, so I lost a couple of balls on the fairway. That said and done, the staff was super friendly and really keen on ensuring that we had a great time. It was the last week of the season, and we enjoyed a gorgeous fall day. So, the course conditions weren't the fault of the staff...it was an environmental issue! Being the end of the season, and a week day, there wasn't much available in off-course amenities. Looking forward to playing again on this course, next summer!
A little bit wet
The front 9 holes had a fair amount of standing water. The back 9 were better. Too wet for powered carts today.
Great affordable course, awesome manager
Have golfed Richmond several times this year with my friends, all beginner level. Have never felt rushed, and the management has been absolutely exceptional to us. Song will do anything to make our day excellent, and we really appreciate his efforts.
Excellent value for the money. It’s not long, but most golfers don5 hit 250 yard driver. I will keep coming back .
Layout
The course was just okay. the layout of tee boxes needs to be better situated, it doesn't flow greens to next tee box, had to back track too many times. The pace was extremely slow. But for $15 and a beautiful day golfing is better than working.
A great day starts with a smile
Upon our arrival, the gentleman behind the front desk greeted us with a smile
He came out for a quick, friendly chat and wished us a great play.
Weather conditions are great and course was fun aswell as challenging enough
