Well conditioned course. Tee boxes a bit beat up. Unfortunately, many divots taken without being replaced, ball marks on greens not fixed — perhaps a reminder by starter. No marshals to be seen led to a slow day — groups need to remember that not every putt on a casual round needs the scrutiny of a major. Great group of golfers that I joined as a single. A lovely walk n the afternoon.
A couple goofy holes (like 18), but overall a decent layout. It's open enough that you can pull the driver out a few times, but there are some really tight holes. Greens were nice enough, w/o excessive slopes. Some pretty holes as well. A bit overpriced, but no outrageously so.
. Richmond Hill Review
The course is in incredible shape. The greens are smooth and run true. The fairways are like carpets. The rough is about 3 inches high and thick.
This is the best course I've played this season for managing covid. Their carts are completely cleaned before you take it. They have hand sanitizers at every tee box and someone is cleaning the washrooms on a regular basis. Exceptionally well done. Hats off to Richmond Hill for a beautiful, well kept, safe course!
Thank you for the fantastic review! We look forward to having you back again this year, the course conditions only get better as we get into the Fall golf season!
Loved this course, up till when this marchshal approached us and said we are slowing the pace, even tho the group ahead was the causing the slow down, he also was looking in our carts not sure why, he was acting like some retired cop or something.
