King's Bay Golf and Country Club

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice a layout this 9-hole course offers. Nice balance of long and short holes, and the greens rolled very true despite some dry spots. Overall conditions were very good given how dry it's been lately.

Special shout out to Stephanie at the pro shop who was went above and beyond to retrieve the prescription glasses I left behind by accident. Thank you so much!

It was hot and windy which made for a great day of golf. Staff was closing the course for a shotgun tournament so I went out with another golfnow customer. We were not held up at all and finished 18 holes in 2 hrs and 45 minutes. The way I like to play golf. Given the hot summer the course is dry in some parts and aside from the 1st green which has a good amount of brown spots (staff did water it), the rest of the greens are good. I will return in the future.

I didn't realize it was a 9 hole course when I booked an 18 hole tee time but absolutely loved the course. Condition was best I've seen on any course in the last month due to no rain. Enjoyed playing the same holes over again so I could try to correct where I screwed up the first time. I will look for additional tee times at this course in the future even though it's a half hour drive away and there are many closer courses.

Greens and fairways in very good shape in spite of drought conditions. Decent bunkers all raked nicely. Quite pretty with most holes offering a view of the lake.

Great course in excellent condition. Pretty challenging as well. I would definitely play there again.

The pro shop warned me that the round would be slow because it was women's day and there were many walkers but I had a comfortable cart on which to wait and talk with a very friendly golfer that I joined after a few holes ... so the time did not drag. It was a good afternoon.

Course is in great shape! Quiet countryside and view of Lake Scugog. Would love to ride in the quiet electric carts on this course!!

Kings Bay was a great way to kick off the 2016 season. Managed to get a great deal and the course is already in fantastic shape. I was very happy to play this scenic 9 hole course twice. I will definitely be back!

If you plan on playing 18 holes, beware!!! After completing 9 holes, there were 4 groups waiting to tee off on hole #1 and the clubhouse does not give any priority to those who are making the turn. They said we were 10 mins behind, but hey we were waiting on every tee block for 2-5 minutes. But the fact that we were 10 mins behind doesn't change the fact we had no priority anyway. We asked for a raincheck for 9 because we didn't want to wait 30 mins and it was rejected after a reference that we were Golfnow golfers.

Aim left. Everything seems to bounce to the right. Nice course with good conditions and nice fairways and greens. Rounds play really fast when it's not busy.

Great value, course was in fantastic conditions tees and greens very well kept. Greens had no ball marks. Traps were well placed and well maintained the sand condition was A+

Played in under 4 hrs and they said it was busy

Great variety in the tees moved to the back tees for back nine and wow what a different course, 6600+ from the back tees. Greens were tricky to read hard to remember they break to the water.

Love the 1st, 3rd, 8th and 9th holes. Beautiful course, well maintained! Staff really friendly! Always find the 5 th hole super challenging. Gets the best of me every time. Will certainly be back again!

This is a great golf course with a challenging layout. Course was in great shape from tee to green - fairways were immaculate. Most of the course borders onto Lake Scugog, so lots of great views along the way.

Challenging course with 3 par 5s , 3 par 4s and 3 par 3s . Excellent layout and on those warm summer days it plays a little cooler with the lake breeze. Hidden gem !

Completely worth the 30 min drive, greens are quick and maintained beautifully. Only exception is with 'typical' public players who don't respect or comprehend the concept of repairing ball marks and raking traps but that is not courses fault. Very pretty views along the lake. Played with my husband and golfers very good about letting us play through so pace of play was very good. Enjoyed replaying the 9. Will definitely play again.
