Reviewer Photos
If you’re here to read reviews I would highly recommend.
It takes an avid golfer and visitor or tourist to look up courses to play on golf advisor. I know this from experience.
If you are a low handicap play the black tees. These will give you a challenge. Very good array of dogleg lefts, rights and a couple forced carries. Very good opportunity to shoot a great score if you can take advantage of the par 5s. This course has a lot of shot value and the greens are always excellent and above average whether it’s Spring, Summer or Fall. You will be able to hit a lot of Drivers off the tees and even have some eagle putts on some of the downhill or downwind par 5s.
Excellent golf course for scramble tournaments with there being 6 par 3s and 5 par 5s.
I utilize golf advisor while doing a lot of travelling for work and want to emphasize the fact that if you’re looking for a good quality golf course, excellent putting surfaces and a close drive to the Orangeville area I would highly recommend giving it a try. Shelburne is by far the best valued course in the area that will be very challenging yet playable for all levels of golfers at a reasonable price.
Very windy
Two members of our foursome had golfed here in the past and remembered outstanding flowerbeds....this is no longer the case. The greens and fairways were in good condition. The wind made for difficult and cold play. Needs more wind breaks! In speaking with other golfers, they said it is always windy there!
We only met one staff member who checked us in...may have been because it was Thanksgiving weekend?
Great round
The course was in excellent condition. That helped me shoot a good score for me. 81
First outing out Shelburne
To be honest I played this course many years ago in a business tournament and lots of refreshments and a torrential rain were involved
Course has s nice layout and is pretty open. The 9th is a vanilla par 3 but rest holes are decent and s couple good length par 5s.
Lots of roll and elevation change in many fairways. Greens in good shape and moderately quick
Was the round I finally got a new driver dialed in but my irons weren’t :(. But enjoyed the course and will return.
Bit of a logjam on starting tee but once we teed off pace was very good
Good course for value
The course was in good condition.
The price was great, and it wasn’t busy.
Great Course! Need a Starter
Played Shelburne golf course recently, with a great GolfNow Hot Deal. The course is in excellent condition for this time of year (hot & humid).
Expect a friendly staff to help you get sorted out before your round. The driving range and putting green areas are a nice, added bonus.
One caution. This course has membership members, and on the day we played quite a few jumped in front of us prior to our tee time. There is no starter at the first tee to keep the groups moving, teeing off on time. What should have been a round in under 3.5 hours, turned into 4 hours and 20 minutes. Not a bad way to spend time mind you, but it did impact the overall experience with waits of 5-7 minutes on some of the tee boxes. Just be aware.
Great course overall!
Good course
Course is drying out more n roll outs are getting better. Course is in great shape
Great shape
Course is always in good condition. Drying out now so ball is rolling out in fairways longer
Not bad
Shelburne course is always a blast! True 18! Love it and will go back!
Wet spring
Considering the extremely wet spring the course was injected pretty good shape. Always a fun course to play.
Fun course to play
Excellent value for your money, course is fun to play, in very good condition for so early in an extremely wet year. Will be back often.
Always great!
Always a great time at Shelburne Golf! For the time of year, still great shape! I always recommend Shelburne Golf!
Great day on the course
Met with friendly, helpful staff. Found course to be a pleasure to play. The practice area is exceptional and my wife and I have been using the range and chipping and putting area to improve our games many times this year.
