Excellent value for your money
It's always in great shape. Practically had the whole course to ourselves on a Tues. morning. Not a boring layout with nice scenery.
Great walking course
Shelburne G&CC is a wonderful walking course in great shape and a good value for money. There were several singles and twosome on the course and a three some in front of us that were very gracious at letting everyone play through. A very pleasant experience overall.
Shelburne GC
Thurs morning, not crowded. played 18 with cart 2 1/2 hours
Course in good shape
A very pleasant surprise!
First time playing and I really enjoyed this course.. The course was in great condition. The staff were extremely friendly. It took us 3 1/2 hours to play. The course was very quiet and we would have been done even quicker if not for catching up to a very slow foursome on the last few holes.
I would consider the course very easy to play but ithat is perfect for my game. It is very wide open and quite forgiving. Not a lot of spots to get in big trouble.
The only negative was the beer cart girl. We saw her 3 times on the course but she never came by us which seemed odd considering there was hardly anyone on the course.
This course has a great staff
Got to the course only to find out I had booked the wrong date...they let me play anyway. the staff here are top notch and the course is in excellent shape. we will definitely play here again.
The clubhouse has been re-modeled and they have a really good menu!
Great Place to Golf
So I found a fabulous deal at the Shelburne Golf and Country Club yet it was a late tee time 6:20 pm. I have played here when the pace of play was tediously boring. I hate waiting and being rushed. So I was hoping the course was not too busy. The parking lot was packed when I got there and I thought oh no, too busy. Thankfully there was a tournament just finished but I worried about ladies night. So I mentioned that to the front desk attendant and he let us tee off the back nine first. The two of us got around the back nine in 1 hour and 15 minutes. We even waited after a par 3 to let a single player through. So we had plenty of time to finish the front 9 as well. Smooth sailing when the course is not backed up. Lots of water lately so the greens are thick and not as fast as I've seen here. The tee boxes were good even after the tourney. I played great I had 4 bad holes that inflated my score but the other 14 I played at +8. I saw 3 swans fly over just before I got a birdie, hmmm.
Very impressed
Today played here for the 1st time in 5yrs.Best ever conditions.Greens were rolling perfectly.Cant say more.Kudos to entire staff @ Shelburne.Get out there asap and enjoy this GREAT golf course.
Thunderreview
Great course, well kept. A course that has room to smash a long ball is a fun course! I found myself in the 130-135 yard mark for my second shot quite a few times, perfect for working on short to mid game. Dialing in a 9 iron from that range leaves you feeling pretty good! I would play this course a second time no problem!
Rainy Day
Staff at course super friendly and helpful. Too bad Mother Nature didn't agree with my evaluation. Rain ended our day but Course was more than willing to provide a rain check for a SUNNY day
Nice place to Play
This was the first time we have played at Shelburne Golf and Country Club. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course is a nice open course which is kept in very nice shape, the greens were excellent. Even though it is a little drive from Brampton my playing partner and I agreed that we would go back.
good value on golfnow
An average course, with some interesting holes. Greens on the slow side, but good value on the golfnow hot deal.
Shelburne Gold and Country Club
Excellent staff and service as they were able to verify my tee time and allowed me to play ahead of my scheduled time.
Course is in excellent shape and is relatively easy (you should not loose too many balls). Greens are in great shape for this time of the season.
Will return for more.
average golfers course
course was in good shape for mid may. fairways and greens are greening up. greens were on the slowside but rolled fairly true. would play again
fair course with some very challenging holes
it was a good deal through golfnow. The staff was very friendly as well the people I was paired with. Par 3's were on the shorter side (135 yards) but overall a good test for my game.
Nice Course
Nice course, with some fairly wide fairways. Course in great shape, especially the green or being so late in the season.
Great Fall Golf
Course in great shape for time of year. Greens still quick and true. Fairways clear of leaves but rough a different story.
Good value
Excellent greens good course for social outing. Would play again
A good place for the average golfer
Shelburne is a well kept, open golf course. They treat you well.
love this course
This was my sixth time playing this course, i love it. Being a new golfer i have developed my skills at this course more then any other ive ever played, im contemplating my purchasing my membership here for next season. Beautiful 18.
