Amberwood Village Golf and Country Club

I showed up, to find out that I had been paired with 3 others, as I was a single, and was hoping to play quickly, I was a little worried, but it did not turn out to be a problem. The course was really busy, but I was surprised how well paced it was. I was also amazed at the excellent condition of the course, especially the greens. The greens were really fast, which is how they are supposed to be. The only thing I would suggest to the course, is to make sure there are fountains running in all the ponds, as to decrease the ability for mosquitos, and other bugs to lay eggs.

I'm kept hearing about how easy the course is.
I play about 100 times a year and have played and belonged to some of the better courses in the world.
Versus par, Amberwood was a decent challenge. I can say over a few rounds I hit every club in my bag. The greens were a bit slow but in good shape and the bunkers well kept. Is it Augusta? No. But it will keep your game sharp and test you enough!

Course is fun and in great shape. Short course. Can be problematic with pace of play. Had a group of 7 in front of us last night. No biggie for me and the wife though. They were a bunch of young guys having fun. We skipped the second hole and then came back and played it after our 9. Had a couple best ball groups in front of us last time out. Didn't enjoy that as they didn't let us play through. Staff are great and friendly, but should prewarn you if there's a large group or tourney in front of you.

Always enjoy playing this ourse. It's an easy walk, well laid out and the food is excellent!!

First time playing this course...very nice setting and course layout. Fairways and greens in very good condition, only a few wet areas on the fairway due to horrendous downpour the day before. The course is a little shorter, Par 33, so great for senior +.

I really enjoyed Amberwood Village.

It is well maintained, has nice water features on most holes, and is a nice mixture of par's.

Good for a quick round of 9 at a very reasonable price.

And easy to get to from the Queensway.

Would totally play again.

We golfed on 27 May and there was no Marshall working so people were just very slow and it took us over 3 hours to complete 9 holes. The course was great but was a bit frustrating to have to wait that long to complete 9 holes

This is a very nice and well maintained course. Forgiving layout for the weekend golfer like me. Extremely friendly staff and fellow golfers. We will definitely recommend and return to play again soon!

Its a short track but requires well placed shots. it was in good condition and the greens were in great shape. Its a nice little course.

Enjoyed the round but the group ahead of us had 5 people and they didn't have the courtesy to let our group of three play through. The course should have refused this group of 5.

We were a foursome and had a great time. The course was great and played at a really good pace. The course was in really good shape. I am recommending this golf course to everyone that like to play a short course.

A good risk and reward where you have to play smart in laying up. Greens are awesome and need to be on the right side of the pins. Green side bunkers need more sand or worked but doesn't take away from the overall layout.

The course is in great shape...lots of grass in the fairways and the greens despite the summer drought conditions.

have played here many times, staff are always friendly, the course is in pretty decent shape, and has a nice bar/restaurant for refreshments after golf
