Great Walk on a Beautiful Day
A very enjoyable day on a course that begs to be walked. The greens were quite decent for this time of year and although there is some damage to the fairways they were also fine for the early part of the season.
Maybe the nicest folks in the business work at Glen Mar starting when you walk in to the Pro-Shop door right through the starter to the staff at the nineteenth hole.
While this course will never be confused with Eagle Creek, it is a naturally appealing place without a single house or condo-block anywhere to be found, plenty of wildlife and some well defined tree-lined holes that give the course some character and charm.
Great value for the money and the only hitch being they might be too nice to some of the patrons who can be slower than needed.
Poison Ivey everywhere
Do something about your poison Ivey, it’s everywhere can’t even get your ball out of the tree line, something needs to be done.
That’s one reason I would not get a membership here.
Staff!!
I have played this course several times period Usually have a great experience. Only got to use the first nine. Had to play it twice as there was a four group line up on the eleventh hole. No marshall's. If I hadn't already played the course and knew what the course was capable of, I would have been very upset. Willll give it another shot.
Played after heavy rain
Played solo during my last visit to Ottawa. The ground was wet due to earlier rain. The didn’t allow power carts so I had to walk. This is an easy cource. Mostly wide fairways and easy greens.
Golf course excellence
The course conditions could easily rival The Royal Ottawa course. Fairways in perfect condition and the greens pristine. Hats off to the grounds crew. Will be back soon. Thanks to all involved.

FRONT NINE WAS AMazing. got to the back nine. 5 groups on the hole ??? 1 hour and 15 minutes to play the 1st 2 holes on back nine, gave up and asked for a rain check for nine hole. Sorry we cant help you i was told.

never go back...
Overall solid
Difficult but great layout due to the amount of trees and path to the greens. Fairways and spots around the green were either rock hard or very soft which was difficult to gauge, but overall good experience. 71$ for 18 and a cart on a friday morning, was okay.
Good value in a competitive area
Fun course with a great variety of hole layouts. It’s a shame they lost so many trees in last year’s storm, but it’s still a challenging track.
Great track!
I love playing this challenging course. It's in great shape and great value for the dollar.
